Guest guest
Hi Dawne... I think everyone here would agree that protein is a must, it is just the form of it that gets everyone... Let me clarify this by saying that nutrition is not my strong suit, I am much more comfortable in the area of homeopathy... But, let's see what we can figure out... If it can't be nuts, and refridgeration and/or cooking is most likely an issue, have you investigated just seeds? Like sunflower seeds? Is that too close to nuts? And then again not to stir up the meat issue, I assume as well that those who have absolutely nothing to eat would not turn away a meal because it is carniverous- jerky... I personally don't know anything really about jerky, I don't eat it, but I did a quick google search and it popped up... Not sure it is the best thing in the world to eat, but there we are... What a wonderful thing you are doing... I have done the same thing in the past... Honestly, with mixed results, I knew they really just wanted money, but this was a way to make sure my donation would be used and not squandered on alcohol, drugs, etc... Best Wishes, Misty L.
