Fluoride is absorbed into the bone matrix making the bone weaker. Also with calcium, remember hardness does not equate to strength, bone is living tissue and it's health has nothing to do with the amount of calcium that is held in the matrix. Chakl is 100% calcium and will shatter when it is dropped. Bambo is stong because it is flexible not because it is hard.
