Guest guest
Good Morning Everyone, Dawne I must say that I agree with your post. Not everyone follows the same drummer, and therefore probably not the same drum either. Everyone gains inner peace about their connection to God, Buddha, Yahweh, or whatever name your choose to give your Higher Power in the same manner. I myself personally grew up Christian, but became turned off to " religion " because some of the people who could only manage to live their faith one day a week. The other 6 days they were backstabbing, lying, deceiving, unethical people. Eventually I stopped being part of an organized religion and turned inward. I now use several books as well as teachers and scholars. The teachings from these sources help me to turn inward in my quest for connection to the divine. HOWEVER......this is a list in which the description says nothing about religion. I joined the list to learn of alternative methods to maintain and/or regain health, as I'm sure almost everyone else did. The origin of this topic had nothing to do with religion. Angie, I respect your right to believe as you wish. However, organized religions that say you " must " do something only seek to control thru fear and guilt. But it was an inappropriate post for the list, and frankly, I'm not quite sure how you made the leap from one topic to another. If you wish to debate each other about religion, please do it privately. Thanks, Nanci Just Dawne wrote: > You must remember that not all Bibles are approved and > therefore not the truth. > > > Denise > > Do we really have to go THERE? Approved by who?
