This regemin is part of my treatment regimen for neuropathic pain. Also I've been using a proprietary EO blend (someone else's, not mine, and I have no idea what proportions of each) of balsam fir needle, lemon, eucalyptus, juniper berry and myrtle lightly rubbed on my wrists (median nerve), inside of the elbows (ulnar nerve) and shoulder/collar bone/ neck area (brachial plexus). Of course, the standard disclaimers apply - These help me but each person needs to investigate for his/herself and see your health care practitioner. Isn't it awful we have to CYA by adding that? Guest guest
Hi Jamie, I got carpel tunnel about a year ago. It was very uncomfortable and I couldn't even hold a pencil. Two acupuncture treatments took care of it. It was amazing. Since then I take a good quality b complex and when I don't take it for a while it comes back slightly. I have a mouse pad with a cushion and a cushion in front of the keyboard because I was told I should hold my hands higher when I type and wrong positioning can contribute to carpel tunnel. I can't do that so the cushions help a lot. So I highly recommend acupuncture and lots of B vitamins. good luck, Cathy herbal remedies, " SPARERIBAZ " <spareribaz@M...> wrote: > Does anyone know the best way to handle carpel tunnel syndrome? > > Thanks & God Bless, > Jamie

Guest guest
Hi Jamie, If you can position the laptop on a table so that your elbow is sort of at right angle with your shoulder that helps. Picture your arm resting on an armchair when you type. This is what I was told and when I adjusted the height of the keyboard shelf and my chair it seems to work out. I would get a portable mouse instead of using the one on the laptop. Good luck. Cathy herbal remedies, " SPARERIBAZ " <spareribaz@M...> wrote: > Thanks a lot Cathy.... Guest guest
Wed, 28 Jan 2004 22:00:00 -0600 " Eloise Bailey " <pray Carpal Tunnel I have a friend whose son is having problems with carpal tunnel. I know B6 has been recommended for this, but does anyone have any other suggestions. .......................................................................... I USED to have carpal Tunnel and Fibromyalgia! I got rid of 17 amalgams and 2 nickel crowns and started detoxing from heavy metals thru detox pads, cilantro, products from www.extremehealthusa.com, and steam saunas and clay baths. NO DAIRY NO BREAD NO SUGAR They all severely affect your immune system and fill up every mucous membrane with excess mucous... then a little bacterial called Candida starts to grow in the intestines, causing arthritis, chronic fatigue and fibro. Carpal tunnel is an inflammation of the myelin sheath around the tendons leading to your hands. The swelling is part of the mucous problem caused by WHITE pasteurized & processed milk and WHITE flour (DEAD STUFF). WHITE FLOUR and WHITE SUGAR both have a molecular weight and consitency so as to be classified as poisons (as far as our nutritional needs are concerned). One teaspoon of sugar shuts your immune system down for about 4 hours. One soda has enough sugar to shut your immune system down for a day and a half... plus it's about 2.5 ACID, contains phosphoric acid that causes the bones and teeth to leech calcium to combat the acidity. And the acidity eats out aluminum in the can so you're drinking aluminum too! Disease can only develop in an acidic body... so GET ALKALINE! 80 percent of your food should be alkaline, 20 percent acid. That equates to about 80 percent raw, unprocessed food and 20 percent (LESS is better) cooked food. Here are a few websites and further info to start your journey to HEALTH! (I soak large amounts, rinse and drain and then put them in freezer bags in the freezer for later use). The recipe I use for almond milk is: 1 cup soaked almonds 2 cups pure water 2 - 3 dates 1/4 tsp Celtic sea salt Blend in Vitamix (or blender) until smooth. Strain mixture in a sprout/milk bag. The milk squeezes out of the bag and the pulp is what is left over. Here's something I like to do with almond pulp - banana bread. BANANA BREAD Julie Disser 4 cups almond pulp 1 cup raisins (soaked in pure water for about 2 hours) 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 - 1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt 2 large ripe bananas Add pulp, 1/2 of raisins, 2 or so oz. of the raisin soak water (more if needed to blend), salt, and the banana to a food processor. Process with the s-blade until somewhat smooth. Add the remainder of raisins and the walnuts and process until still slightly lumpy. Spread out into loaf about 1 inch high. Cut into 1 inch slices (shaped almost like biscotti). Dehydrate at 100 degrees for about 12 hours. If still moist in the middle, this is a great banana bread substitute. If you wish to dehydrate until completely dry and crunchy, it is like biscotti. **************************************** FOOD COMBINING CHART Doug Graham sells an easy one, maybe " Food Combining Simplified? I suggest that she open up all her " joints " by doing " Connecting With Heaven & Earth " (used to be named, " Stretching between Heaven and Earth " )... I suggest this because of her statament about her knees... Also a 3 time, spinal flush with DEEP penetration through the lower Cervical and Thoracic area...working from the neck downwards... ....also the X neck stretch and hold will do wonders for that neck and shoulder area... ....then a heavy thumping with a stiff hairbrush from the neck, down the upper arm (back of) all the way down to the hand. Many times, a simple solution for CT is to take Vitamin B6, 500 mgs a day...and the CT just goes away. If nothing else, tape one of the round Radio Shack magnets to the painful area, with the North side (collecting energy side) downwards. I think a package of 10 of them costs about $1.99 cents...or less. Enough for now. Have fun. John M.
