Guest guest
My comment about healing in general is we have to be willing to change our habits and attitudes. Secondly, we have to realize that only we can heal ourselves. Whatever the health problem, if our system is backed up and bogged down, we will not feel well. By reducing the fat and meat in or diet (3tsp oil/day, for example. Fish is lighter than chicken or red meat.) and eating more vegetables and fruits, we allow our system to move. (Think of yourself as a compost bin, and don't put anything into it you wouldn't put in a compost bin.) Lee DuBelle has a great, no-nonsense approach to getting to know your body. For example, she suggests you pay attention to the number, timing, and quality of your bowel movement. For each meal, something should be coming through, 2-3/day, should float, not smell bad, should be well formed. She has some excellent lectures on tape about how she healed her numerous health problems through cleanses and diet. Another thing, many of us cannot handle wheat, and it irritates our system, causing other problems. Sometimes we can try going without a certain food such as wheat for 3 weeks just to see how we feel. A small pot of cooked brown rice makes a good filler for wheatless meals. Also, of course, get out and exercise. A walk around the block may be a challenge for some. But keep a chart on your wall as a reminder, and try to do it at least 3 times a week. Make a game of it, and try to walk a little farther each week. http://www.leedubelle.com Best wishes. Once we take charge of our own health, it only gets better. --- thorn6262 <thorn6262 wrote: > Hello everyone > > I have a hiatus hernia and have to take pills for it > or the acid > reflux becomes almost unbearable.
