Guest guest
Hi I'm just wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea if there were a separate list for kombucha? Kombucha or something like that. There are thousands of " alternative " therapies and modalities. It's impossible to cover them all, under a single umbrella. - <califpacific Monday, November 12, 2001 10:17 AM Posting etiquette > Dear Group, > > I have received a few messages about reposting whole messages to say > " I agree " . > > Or reposting the whole thread when repling which might have 2 or more > answers in it. > > Some members have left because of this. > > We have a large number of members taking an active part which is > great. > > We just need to remember to erase the parts of the message you are > responding to that are not pertinent to your reply. > > Some people are on digest form and if people keep reposting all of the > previous to say " Amen " to something, it can get very confuing. Guest guest
Dear John, LOL. I know of about 3 or 4 lists for Kambucha. But you pretty much have to know about it to to them. That's why this list was started to cross- pollinate info from other lists. To get info you would not normally get from the individual narrow interests of most lists. Guest guest
Frank I agree. I was concerned, that too many posts might discourage many people that are looking for news, and not a flood of essentially routine chit-chat about pet health theories and fads. Kambucha is extremely controversial, as are many other methods in favor these days, for promoting healthfulness or combatting disease. For my own purposes, I continue searching for wellness information which is not entirely based on anecdotal reports. I take a middle position on this score. It's difficult to find the grey between flamboyant health faddism, and the rigid, self-serving medical orthodoxy of the " quackbusters. " But we must find that middle ground, if conventional medicine is to be stopped in its efforts to thwart our access to alternative health methods, institutions, and practitioners. - <califpacific Monday, November 12, 2001 12:03 PM Re: Posting etiquette > Dear John, > LOL. ( both allopathic and alternative, but importantly, the alternative will not usually kill you in the process) A few examples of a cheap effective therapy that generates almost no money and therefore has almost no incentive to be pushed except by a few interested parties are: 1. The heart theory of Linus Pauling /Mattis Rath. 2. The flax seed oil/cottage cheese protocol. 3. Kombucha tea. And others. and many others. kind regards, That is one of the reasons that this list will remain Non commercial. Frank
