Guest guest Report post Posted December 23, 2001 A merry Christmas to one and all i thought i would share an incident that occurred in this holiday season which so reflects on the cynicism that is prevalent in this day and age that makes any attempt to spread spirituality such an effort... i was jogging my usual route and on many an occassion i would see an old very elderly grumpy lady outside in her spacious well manicured lawn...often our eyes have met only to quicky avert the meeting...as is so customary in North America.... But this time, since it was the Holiday Season, i smiled and as i jogged past wished her a Merry Xmas...and it was sincere, for i have never seen her with any other soul in all my joggings past... She turned crimson, her jaw dropped anger welled...and said...:Huh...I have many years left yet you know! " WHether you believe it or not, i had no intention of being mentioned in her will...although i understood...and jogged on, shocked beyond measure... The Kali Yuga renders all good actions nowt...which is why that line that Samudra Gupta has as his signature line is so relevant...
