I have always gained inner strength from these times. You will have to " go within " and discern what is correct for you. There are many avenues towards health. Having a lumpectomy or mastectomy is an option, especially if it will prevent spread to your lymph glands. Whether you choose chemotherapy is up to you also. Since I am a registered nurse, I legally cannot prescribe. However, if you were to ask me what I would do in such a situation, here is my " answer. " I have recently thought about this as I was helping a friend going thru the same scenario a few months ago. Also, I have had three occurrences of cancer (not breast). The last time it happened, I told Swami that I was content and that, if He has more work for me to do, then I will stay. Otherwise, I would transition. The surgery showed no trace of cancer, even though the preliminary tests were " positive. " I'm still here . . . 1. I would have surgery to remove the tumor. I consider this " throwing out the trash. " 2. I would " consider " chemotherapy, based on the surgical findings. I have not been a proponent of chemo. (I have worked an Oncology floor and have been a Hospice volunteer for a long time.) However, after seeing how well my friend responded to her course of chemotherapy and how good she looks and feels now makes me more open to this option. She had only one day of nausea in the entire course. I was amazed. 3. I would adopt an alkaline food eating plan. The work of Robert O. Young, Ph.D. has case studies showing that cancer cannot live in an alkaline environment. To explore the science of Dr. Young, you may go to: www.articlesofhealth.blogspot.com. or www.phmiracleliving.com. 4. I would clean out my lymphatic system. My homeopathic doctor tells me that, by regularly cleansing this system (especially with my history), it is difficult for cancer to exist (as a healthy lymph system contributes to a good immune system). He has me take Detoxosode, which is a homeopathic remedy manufactured by HVS Laboratories in Naples, Florida. Also, while my girlfriend was undergoing chemo, he said this would be helpful for her also. I hope this was helpful for you. Rita M. I have decided my options and have planned to go for the full removal of the breast. Since this is the 1st stage i pray that i need not undergo the chemo. My op is schedule on Monday 12/11/07. I will be admitted to Pantai Puteri, Ipoh on Monday 7.30 am and my op is at 9.30 am. I thank all your advise and prayers. I have attended the 1st session of the 108 gayathri mantra chanting at ipoh garden centre on sunday night (4/11/07) and it is so meaningful for me. I believe that if Swami is well, he will be able to bless us all. t,q so very much bros & sis.
