For the first time ever in the history of DattaPeetham, Pujya Sri Swamiji's

Birthday celebrations are organized outside Mysore and Hyderabad is blessed for

hosting this wonderful event. Avadhoota DattaPeetham Hyderabad branch in

coordination with Sri Datta Humane Services (SDHS) has been making efforts for

this four-day event.

 

Pujya Sri Swamiji reached Hyderabad this morning at Rajiv Gandhi International

Airport, Shamshabad in the outskirts of the city. A procession of 67 cars

representing the 67th birthday of His Holiness welcomed Sri Swamiji from the

Gandimysamma X roads to Dindigal ashrama. Upon arrival at the Ashrama main gate,

the popular Kadiri band on Nadaswaram along with a dance troupe from Rajahmundry

welcomed Pujya Swamiji. Volunteers and members representing all branches of

Dattapeetham extended a warm welcome by releasing pigeons into air. One of the

pigeons rested on  Sri Swamiji’s hand from the main gate till the prayer hall

as if it welcomed Him holding his hand.

 

Sri Swamiji gave darshan to all those who assembled there and rested.

 

Swagatha Sabha would take place at 7.00 in the evening.
