Your work has begun!

Swami, once told Charles Penn, "Your work has begun". Of course, he too might have got perplexed at this revelation. For every one of us, who feel that we are in the Sai fold, our work too began long ago. If we are not aware, it is because of the delusions, still we nurture. We alternate between 'conscious and unconcious stage more often. Conscious is the awareness of the Divine within us. But when we move deeply with worldly people, our vision too gets clouded by the worldly delusions. Hence we are all really a mixture of "Satwa, Rajas, and Thamo gunas". The individual soul inside think itself as bound by these three chains. But in Sai Sat Charita, it is said, that though the "Jivi" is 'free' fundamentally, due to delusion of body consciousness, it feels bound and miserable. Hence Swami too categorises us as, "miserable little prison individualities". As long as we retain this separateness, we will be miserable. Once the wall (body conscious) is broken, we can see face to face, said Saibaba. This delusion follows us through many incarnations in this perishable body. In every life, the preceptor within us guides us towards "Reality and Truth". But the deep rooted moha or attachment to this samsar, blinds us and hence we are unable to follow the Divine commands. Swami too, cajoles us to awake from this dream world and realise our true potential and worth which is no less than "Sayujya", the realisation of our real "Self". Sairam.
