Dearborn hotel $29 on HOTWIRE.COM - Extended stay America

I just booked through www.hotwire.com for $29 a day.

The hotel is extended stay america which is within a mile from

program location.

 

I thought of sharing this. It may help other.

 

Hotwire does not show hotel name till you purchase it.

I tried the same search again and the 2 star hotel is showing as $32

now. It may be the same hotel.

For the San Ramon retreat, Vaishnavi and I stayed at an Extended

Stay Hotel called Homeseat Village Suites in San Ramon. It was more

than $29 ($79) but cheaper than the Marriott. Also Homestead

Village has a special weekly rate for the MA Center, in case anybody

wants to visit sometime. The room was very nice with a full kitchen

with full aized refrigerator, microwave, stove top electric burners

and an automatice coffee maker. There was silverware and a few

cooking tooks--no plates or pots and pans. I would definitely look

into similar places around the country.

 

The only disadvantage was that the shuttles volunteers operated

didn't normally go to the Homestead. It took us until the end of

our stay to figure out that we could have driven over to the hotel

organizers had selected and hoped on the shuttle there. Duh!
