SREE VATUKA BHAIRAVA MAHIMA

"om hrim vatukaya aapadud dhaaranaaya kuru kuru vatukaaya hrim "

( this moola mantra of vatuka bhairava has to be chanted 1 lakh times or atleast 10,000x to obtain siddhi.)

 

Mantra sadhana prayoga vidhana

Vatuka Bhairava is worshipped in three forms, Satva rajas tamo guna forms. The below one is Tamo guna vidhana( worship in smashan only). Bhairavas are of many types. Ananda , Vatuka , Swarnakrshana, Aakaasa, Unmatta, Sidhha.. and many more.

 

Before any saivite mantras or saktheya mantras chanting we have to permission from Bhairava.

 

Ati theekshna mahakaayam kalpantha dahanopama

Bhairavaya namasthubhyam anujnam dhatu marhasi.

 

For vaishnavites or before chanting any vaishnava mantras we have to take permission from Vikshvassena.

the worship of bhairava can be in 3 forms , satwa rajas or tamas guna. it all depnds on the method of dyana and prayoga vidhana. there are three kinds of dyana, sattwa rupa vatuka dyana, tamo rupa vatuka dyana and rajo rupa vatuka dyana. the sattwa form grants bukti and mokasha prapti, the rajo guna for all material purpose and kamyarta siddhi , where as the tamo rupa is for destruction of enemies, dushta graha stambana, buuutha ucchadana etc. sadhakas meditate upon the vatuka bhairav depending on what kind of sadhanas/ prayogas. they are embarking on.

 

for example a sincere sadhaka who longs for moksha and bhairava anugraha will meditate the sattwa rupa of the bhairava.

 

meditating the tamo guna will not suite the purpose of a sadhaka wants bukti mukti prapti.

 

the mantra given is the general mantra . its not just subjected only to smashan sadhana or the tamo rupa sadhana.it can be used for all purpose.

 

further more the 3 guna dyana is only taken up after having siddhi in this mantra. till one attain siddhi in this mantra he has to meditate on the general form of vatuka.

 

only after performing dashamsa homa, tarpana, marjana and brahmana bojana, the sadhaka can practice the 3 kinds of dyana and do prayoga.

I am very pleased to read the below email on subject.

 

Kindly advise, currently i m working in Saudi Arabia, and living alone. Also

have no access to any pooja samgri or process to do sadhna. I do feel job

insecurity, lazyness bad thoughts etc, children back home also not studying well

even after spending lot of money on their education. No acess and chance to take

Guru Diksha as well here. Only thing i can do is japa at my room. I have only

Panchmukhi rudraksha mala.

you can do jaap of OM NAMAH SHIVAI only there is no need of another mantra It himself is a very powerfull mntra You can jap with mala you are having.make your Isht Dev Bhole Nath & request him to provide Guru He will help you .

do the vatuka japa with faith. meditate vatuka bhairava as a little boy aged 8 years.. wearing white garments and ornaments. as bright as the moon. as pure as spatik. with 3 eyes smiling sweetly. holding trishul and danda. this is satwika dyana of lord vatuka.meditate thus and chant the vatuka mantra atleast 1008x. u will see things improving

 

when u recite the vatuka mantra. keep a container with milk . at thend of the japa offer that milk to vatuka bhairava. then ask your childerens to consume it. do this daily. they will advance in studies.

 

 

dont wory, just assume bhairava as your guru and chant the mantra ... he will get you a great guru when the time comes. i take full responsibility on your sadhana. so dont worry. bhairav kripa!!!

i have one doubt about lord shiva why did shiva is been worshipped on mondays. is there any specific reason for it.

i have seen some people living all their families and becomes sanyas and bhiravas

soma (moon) observed this vrata and was blessed by lord shiva. lord shiva gave a boon that who ever worships him on soma var will be blessed by him and attain the merits of penance/ austerities.

 

many puranic stories are there in regards of soma var. this is just one of them

 

moon/ soma is the manokaraka. he rules the mind. if a sadhaka needs to advance in his sadhana be it its spiritual or material, his mind must be free from all kind of cancala and impurities. one has to conquer his mind first in order to have spiritual advancement. mind is related with the gunas and the pancha indriyas. if mind is conquered , all the indiyas will be easily controlled. mind is the source of all kind of pleasures and miseries.one has to master the mind first , only then he can master anything else. a silent mind without any thought is the birth place of divinity. u cannot have the reflection of the moon in a moving water. but the moon's reflection can only be witnessed clearly on a still water of the pond/ lake. you will realise that you are the reflection of the brahman when the mind is still and pure!

 

a person with a wavering mind cannot see the divine in himself.

 

its believed that the soma var vrata gives the ability to control the mind and gives spiritual advancement.

 

sanyasa

 

taking up sanyasa or joining the bhairava / aghori sect is not wrong. if a person is really detached and advance soul , he can leave his family and take up sanyasa. if he is destined to be one , then no one can stop. u cant trap the broad akash in a jar, its just our ignorance.sanyasins are people who cannot lead a life such as my family, my blood , my relatives. they see the whole universe as his family. they live to serve and help all souls . they are detached from wordly desires. a true sanyasin doesnt even bother about moksha!

 

this is different in the case of a person who takes up sanyasa without such qualities. if someone just takes sanyasa for material reasons and he abondons his family. it is a great sin. nowadays many becomes monk just to earn money to earn a living! it has become a trend. this had tarnished the sanctity of the sanyasa ashrama. u can see in many families, if they get angry/ frustrated they will say ' if its gonna be like this..... i will become a sanyasin". well they dont realise that becoming a sanyasin is not an easy issue.

 

some teenagers who pose as sanyasins in varanasi told me once that they became sanyasi because they fought and ran away from their home. such pitiful is the state of sanyasins at this period of time.

 

everyone clad in saffron robes with shaved head or with matted hair are known as sanyasi s now .thats a very sad thing.

 

just because of one fake sanyasi / aghori all the sanyasins/ aghoris get bad name.

So, according to you, your advised Mantra can be recited by anyone, even a

householder, without any hitch and problem and repurcussions?

 

To do Dhyaanam of Bhairav Ji - can a picture of him be downloaded from Internet?

How to recognize his Sattwa Roop?

 

Just to attain Siddhi how a Saadhak should start worshipping him? You said

10,000 counts, then at what time they should be recited? and how many can be

daily recited?

do the vatuka japa with faith. meditate vatuka bhairava as a little boy aged 8 years. wearing white garments and ornaments. as bright as the moon.. as pure as spatik. with 3 eyes smiling sweetly. holding trishul and danda.. this is satwika dyana of lord vatuka. i dont know whether this picture is available. but u can use any bhairav picture or even a shiva lingga to worship bhairava. but just meditate on the satwik form .

 

grihastas/ householders can worship him either in his satwik or his rajasic form. sattwik dyana for bukti mukti papti, the rajasic form gives the 4 purushartas ( dharma, arta, kama ,moksha).

 

 

mantras should be chanted at a fix time, fixed number and at fixed place. to attain siddhi.

 

the most auspicious time for bhairava sadhanas are at midnight. it can be done at night between 9pm to 12 am too, if u cant do sadhana at midnight. but if u do satwik dyana then u can do sadhana in the morning or anytime.

 

u can recite them 108x or 300x or 1008 x or 10,000x . its according to your capability and time.
