then resume puja do archana with ashtotra namavali,or sahasranama, and conclude the puja with arti

at the end of puja close the wooden box and keep it in your cash box.

do this for 48 days. at the end of 48 days do homa with1/10 of the japa done. take the gold/ coins in the wooden box tie it in a yellow cloth and keep it in your cash box. never ever spend or use that coins or gold.

the sadhaka must feed a young brahmachari boy (8 years old) everyday or at least on the 48thday.

Hi,

I am requesting you guys, please a mantra means not just chanting, for that a good day must be there. For every mantra some rules and chanting ways are there. Like aasana, japa mala, chant number, chanting sequence per day, after chanting the number what to do and so on...

Not only above, each mantra is having lot of meanings, it may look like something , but the real mean may be diffrent.

Moreover the person who is giving mantra , has to comeplete some siddhi(means he has to complete specified number of chanting, homa, tarpana, vitharana and all) I dnt know about the posted person's spritual capacity to give a Maha mantra of BHAIRAVA to a very very open forum. The next day onwards guru will take good or bad result 50% for each chanting. Thats why guru is very very respectful person.

In each sampradaya, the each beejakshara of amntra.Sampradaya will change and everything, like aasana , japa mala, upasana vidhana , even eating habbits, mantra chanting timings, number of chantings and so on...

Especially the below mantra is from Swarnakarshana Bhairava Tantra, a extract from Oldest Rudrayamala purva tantra. Rudrayamala tantra is the tantra ancient to even Rig veda.

So please donot do any copy paste job. Post above full details including sampradaya.

If any mistakes please excuse me.

Thank you,

Narasimha

Dear Shri Narasimha Rao Ji

Aum Namah Shivaaya

It is an eye opening mail, thanks for it.

Wuld you be kind enough to write something about Saadhanaa of a Mantra -

as how many chants in how many days should be done?

at what time the chant should be done?

what restrictions of any kind should be followed while doing this?

And any other thing to follow which I have forgotten to ask...

I will be very grateful

Thanks a lot

Sushma

Hi,

Mantra Number

It depends on Mantra, lets take one Shiva mantra, Its mantra siddhi number is one lakh, but it depends on yuga, this is Kaliyuga its 4 lakhs. all these will be mentioned in the tantra or samhithas. or you will get from guru.

Mantra Timings

Usually the mantra chant has to be done in early monrning. For some vaama chara cults it be may be midnight. In some cults Mahalakshmi, Swarna karshana Bhairava and Neela Saraswathi chant will be midnight. Even day also differs, for some Purnami, Amavasya and so on....

Mantra chant

Must be in a regular passion, I mean dialy 1000 times , upto completion of 1 lakh without fail. (Number may be differs like 108, 1000, 2000 ...but the same number you have to do dialy)

Chanting Place

It is defined by the Guru, for some mantras upasaka has to stand it a water stream. Upasaka has to sit in mountain peak or banks of rivers or temple or guru charanam or atleast in own house.

Aaasana

Aasana is also specified by Guru on your capacity. For all mantras Darbhasana. For some vaishana mantras it is Peetambaram. Depends on your mental stamina they may suggest krishnajina or Vyaghrajina(Skin of deer and Tiger). For some vaama charas they will suggest Pancha preathasana and savasana.

* Rule : For Kirshnajina and Vyagrajinas shuld not have any holes or damages (Mean hunted animals skin shuold not be used).

Food Habbits

For mantras onion, masala and garlic are restricted. Ofcourse nonveg, egg also. For vaamachara and panchamakara upasanas upasaka has to eat fish dialy.

Mantra Parts

Each mantra whtever it may be, you have to do with saptangas. Other wise it like asking help from PHC. For every mantra saptangas(7 parts will be there)

1. Rushi : author of the mantra

2.Chandassu: Chanting pronunciation

3.Devatha : To whom it is addressed (GOD name)

4.kamyam : purpose

5.Anganyasam:(It varies from mantra to mantra)

6.Pancha puja( Gandham, Pushpam, Dhupam, Deepam, naivedyam, Tambulam).

7.Arpanam: Chant is giving to GOD.

Mantra Mudras

It differs from mantra to another mantras. There are expressed before and after mantra chanting.

Mantra Homa

Whtever tha mantra number chanted, dasamsam homa has to perform(offering to Fire). Homa dravya depends on devatha. Like for some saivite mantras thilams, Ghee, for Mahalakshmi Lotus.....

Mantra Tarpanam

dropping water or something for GOD.

Mantra Saapa Vimochana mantra

For some mantras Saapas will be there, after japa we have to do the saapa vimochana mantra japa.

thank you

Pranam.Thank you for the detailed info.. Just one question, why do some mantras have saapas? And can you give some examples?

Thank you.

With Love

Shankaree

Let my every word be a prayer to Thee, Every movement of my hands a ritual gesture to Thee, Every step I take a circumambulation of Thy image,Every morsel I eat a rite of sacrifice to Thee, Every time I lay down a prostration at Thy feet; Every act of personal pleasure and all else that I do,Let it all be a form of worshiping Thee.."From Verse 27 of Shri Aadi Shankara's Saundaryalahari

Many many thanks Narasimha Ji

One question more Sir. Somebody wrote that Gaayatree Mantra is crsed by three

Devtaa - Brahmaa, Vashishth and Vishwaamitra (I think) and therefore after

chanting it one must recite three Shaap Vimochan Mantra. ON asking he refused to

tell further in this regard.

What is your opinion? There are so many Gaayatree Dhaam are open now a days and

in those Aashram, millions of people are reciting Gaayatree Mantra, but I have

never seen anyb ody reciting Shaap Vimochan Mantra nor heard talking about this.

Thanks again for such an elaborate explanation

With regards

Sushma

For some vaishana mantras it is Peetambaram. Depends on your mental stamina they

may suggest krishnajina or Vyaghrajina(Skin of deer and Tiger). For some vaama

charas they will suggest Pancha preathasana and savasana.

a good day must be there. For every mantra some rules and chanting ways are

there. Like aasana, japa mala, chant number, chanting sequence  per day,

after chanting the number what to do and so on...

give a Maha mantra of BHAIRAVA to a very very open forum. The next day onwards

guru will take good or bad result 50% for each chanting. Thats why guru is very

very respectful person.
