Keeping Siyar Singhi Without Vermilion/Sindoor

Respected Members and Specially Pandit Arjun ji,Kindly tell me what will happen if a Siyar Singhi(Gidar Singhi) is kept without "Sindoor / Vermilion" for a very long time, say a year or so ?Regards,Alyat

dear friend

 

siyar singhi itself is powerful. however, since it is an animal product and

contains some smell with it, it is kept in sindoor powder so that there would be

no smell at all and it is also better to keep few cardamoms and cloves in the

box so that there would be no smell at all. one has a choice to keep it

separately as it is but it is better to keep it in sindoor so that it looks holy

and also does not smell.
