In how many years it would start It should not be like todays hi-fi temples with marble stones/ fans etc but should be more like a kuteeram of some Rushi ....serene/ peaceful with no hungama with garden around..where every person can meditate & see the Lord in his Heart Hope with Lords blessings this project would be realty very soon... The whole temple will be built on Srividya Datta temple rules as laid out in Tantric texts such as Shaktha Pramoda, Parasurama Kalpataru, Dattapurana(sanskrit original) and Dattachintamani texts. Different Yantras will be placed and higly spiritual and motivated people will take care of the tmeple. Devotees who are interested in the project may respond to me at para_anuloma or subramanyamji at datta_gururaya Right now Iam in Rochester,Newyork. I just went to take darshan of Amba and spend my newyear chanting Lalitha Sahasranama and having Datta-Darshana in the temple and someone approached me and said " why dont you build a temple for Ammavaru? " They came on their own accord and proffered thus. But the difficulty is that they were offering land in Nellore(Sarvepalli Gramam) whwreas I would love to base my tmeple in Hyderabad. Ultimately it is Ammavaru who will decide where to stay.(but obviously) I also will peruse the temple library books for Parasurama Kalpataru and Shaktha Pramodam and also Datta-Puranam(sanskrit original) to get a clear picture of what a Srividya temple should be. Else, I will use my sources in Chennai to get information about the same. I would love to build the Dattatreya-sampradaya Srividya temple in outskrits of Hyderabad(suburban place). The place would house the temple 1. Datta-vigraha and alayam 2. Srividya Mahashodasi Peetham built accoridng to Srividya tradition (not Agama Shaivacharyam) ----------- I also propose to install a statue for Pranaprthishtapana devi and luckily one lady upasaka showed me the idol in the petham today. ----------- The yantra-praamanika will be strictly followed with the placements of the secretive yantras in hidden places below the ground and give nitya-Anna-Bali and regular poojas to it.This will make the tmeple a Shakthi-peetham equivalent. -------- Khadgamala deities,their yantras and upadevata deities and their yantras will add to the spiritual grandeur of my dream project. ----------------- Now, the problem arises on account of the Dattatreya link to it as the Dattatreya-marga has to be followed. Now, among the six best upasakas of AMba Rajarejshwari is Dattatreya (the others being Shiva, Narayana, Skanda,Indra and Durvasa) And He has ordained acertain way for the temple. I will try to source that information somehow. --------------------------- Next, the tmeple's aura will clean an area of 100 kos(1 kos is approximately 3.4 miles)So the entire city of Hyderabad will be beniffitted by the spiritual raditon emnating from Mahashodasi devi's presence(not to mention those who enter the temple and offer their worship to the devi). --------------------- Finally, the Datta-vigraha idol sthapana will be done in a tantric way from Datta-Alaya-Tantra texts and the Datta-avarana pujas and yantras will be done there. This temple's aura will be around 75 kos radius. ------------------------ The temples being built according to the tantric texts will be built in black stone and not marble as you have put it. the garbha griha will not have electricty for illumination rather oil lamps will illuminate it(all as per tantra shastra). the surrounding areas will have a temple vasthu attached to it. The bhoomi(soil of the temple) will also be checked and then a bhoomi- puja and yagna done to enhance its potency. Since, I have some knowledge with the grace of my Gurunatha into Sahasra Chandi Homa. They will be conducted regularly to invoke the protection of unwanted forces by Sri Chandika Devi Herself. Thursdays will have Dattatreya Homas being done. A prathyangira-vigraha-sthapana along with yantras and regular pujas and naivedyas will be done too. ----------- Aprt from all this, a Nitya anna-dana,a traning centre for those desirous of learning Srividya with my Guru's permission, and other charitable and academic services(like book publications and printing lot and rare manuscripts) will be done. The place might have fans a bit, I also do not see why cool black marbles cannot be put to give rest to the tired soles of Bhakthas. However, ostentation will be out and it will retain the feel and look of a temple(like in Kerala) Good shade giving trees will be built with one tree selected as a Bhairava Tree(with dog idol beneath it) and a cloth adorning the tree. ------------------------- This thus is my magnum opus.....hope both Dattareya Maha Yogi Deva and Rajarajeshwrai Amba help me out in this venture and it is not being done by me but by them. Iam unable to coin my feelings on this project. Right now Iam doing my MBA here in USA.Once Iam done(in about a year), I fervently hope I get a good job in Hyderabad, so that I can then persue my dream project.
