AKHANDA DATTA STAVA PARAYANA

Dear Dattaguru blessed Members, Pranams! As per the suggestion of our divine dattavaibhavam group owner, Mr. Shriram Balijepalli, and with the blessings of Lord Dattatreya, we are performing 'AKHANDA DATTA STAVA PARAYANA". In general, we are performing this Akhanda parayan every year before Dattajayanthi. This year the programme will starts at 6.30 pm on 02nd December, 2006 and ends at 6.30 pm of 3rd December, 2006 (Sunday) i.e., before the day of Dattajayanthi. The programme is a non-stop continuous 24 hours programme and it is a "SAMOOHIKA PARAYANA". Generally the saamoohika parayanas are having more power than the individual sadhanas. That may be the main reason for performing

Vishnu sahasranama and Lalitha sahasranama etc., as a saamohika in the society. The parayana is performing by the most of the devotees who are in Dattatreya Deeksha (Oudumbar deeksha). Last year, I have personally seen the severe vibrations of Dattaguru during the akhanda parayana. Many devotees were felt very happy with the full vibrations of datta stava stotra. The stotra itself is very powerful and as already u know that, the stotra was given by Shri Vasudevanand Saraswathy swamy maharaj (Tembe swamy Mahraj) who is a samakaaleena of SHri Sadguru SHirdi Sainath. The stotra was popularised globally by Sadhaks of Lord Dattatreya. The programme is performing for

"LOKA KALYANA" and for the welfare of the all datta bhaktas. I will also add the members of Dattavaibhavam group in the main sankalpa of this great divine programme before commencement of it. Last year, some devotees of dattaguru wept for many hours together at the lotus feet of dattaguru during the Akhanda parayana of Dattastava. The main reason for this incident may be....they were fully immersed in the stavaparayana. Thery chanted "datta" nama as datta...datta...datta.. many times with tears falling from their eyes without leaving the divine padukas of dattaguru. This year also, we are readying with Bheema pushkara water to sprinkle on those devotees and Dattaguru paduka lepan to place it on their foreheads to convert such devotees from the peak immersed position to normal position.. Karpoora Harathi will be given at frequent intervals of time. The parayana will be closed on 03.12.2006 at evening hours by giving Maha Mangala

Dear Sri Subrahmanyam,

Sai Ram. Jai Guru Datta. My best wishes to you and all other Datta

devotees involved in this great work. Shri Prasad garu spoke to me a

few minutes ago and invited me to come to Markapur. I told him that

thanks to you, I am aware of the programs being lined up but

unfortunately I am unable to travel out of town due to some minor

health problems.

Can u pls let me know the route comming from chennai via Trian/ Bus. How much time it will take to reach Marakapur. Kindly let me know.
