Question for Swamiji about directions

Namaste Swamiji,

 

when performing the din nyaas, is it the geographical direction or

the direction from the point of view of the worshipper that is

important? Due to the practical problem of having to find room to

place my bookstand I now face north-east when reciting the Chandi; so

if I say 'north' will that be the north wall of the room or the point

directly in front of me?
