Till date I haven't seen any progress in my life despite being predicted as to be very successful-anyone throw some ideas please. I am very pious & very honest & good hearted-speaks truth always-this had landed me in hot water many times. I pray mahasakthi everyday-Twice. Any remedies on earth available to turn the table? From what you have described " I am very pious & very honest & good hearted-speaks truth always- " how many people do you know in the modern world who is like this, further " I pray mahasakthi everyday-Twice. " how many people do you know who gets the opportunity to do this ? So you want material wealth, well wealth is of different kinds imagine this you have ten million dollars but you can't get up from your bed, you can't taste food, you can't feel, you can't smell or you can't see ? of what use is the money ? Health is not only wealth it is a treasure ! But there are always bills to be paid and " things/basic necessities " that one requires - Housing, Food etc.. So I empathize with your feelings, so here's what you can try - AFTER you do Ma's daily devotions just as you always have. Sit still, relax completely, visualize Ma and see yourself as a baby in her arms. Visualize her naked breast and suckle that breast ( without having any lustful thoughts ) with each in breath " Feel " yourself drawing in her power. When you have done this for a period of time and feel - (use your intuition) that you have been energized, then picture MA in the form of Lakshmi in front of you and try to become one with her, see her body as your body and try to feel as though you have become one with her. When you have done this, communicate your thoughts and feelings " honestly " tell her what you " need " not want ! Have patience and wait - pay attention to thoughts that come to your mind when you are quiet. In the mean time think " rich positive thoughts. " don't dwell on depressive thoughts/feelings of inferiority - these only create further obstacles for you. It may not happen instantly it may take a while - do this everyday, see how things unfold. Indeed being too honest sometimes is not good. You can be honest with your thoughts and you think it brings good to tell it to others, but instead it backfire. So as I'm being advise: do not work hard, work smart. Who am I to advise others, but I follow this basic principle : Don't be too honest to others, better to keep it to yourself, but be honest to your self first. Is it very important for you to let others know about the number of times you pray to mahasakti. Why? You talk abt progress. So tell me what do you understand by progress and successful? Have you engaged in any combat? If yes how many we like to know " For a moment the B.General face turned red. He softly replied: None. " Sorry sir! I can't hear you. Can you say that again " This time the B.General got no choice but say it loudly for everybody in the conference to hear it. The representative from the Indian army salute the B.General again and walk back to join his comrade all smiling amongst themselves. Now what triggers me to respond to naresh68 remarks is when he come here and say " I am pious " I don't know I do have problem with such statement, You see naresh68 don't even bother to respond to my questions. As you said - I Can't smell, Vision + hearing are a problem - I do not want money - I know when you die you're not left with your clothing. I keep continuing to have a myriad of health problems - one after another since 24 yrs of age. That's what I am uncomfortable about - this causes lot of troubles at work as well - that's why unsuccessful - the reason for coming to this site as suggested by my friend to ask for help. I always never believed in people reaching for horoscopes & approaching astrologers who advise them depending on money spent - hence came to this site to get advise from people who participate genuinely to help others with no expectation. Why you assume that? Because you have seen so many people just like that before, does that mean this one must be alike? The american way? Shoot them all, let God sort out them out later? If you have problem with people that may be proud to be pious, i have a problem at the moment with insistance on humility. Maybe he is proud, but maybe you think your own attitude and way is so superior that you feel it is necessary to criticise someone upfront on his first posting for being proud because of the more or less harmless remarks that he prays two times a day? If someone gives his date of birth and asks for personal advice he is better cared for in an environment of Jyothisa Gurus, this is a normal question in such a list, who would not provoke seveeral assumptions about his psychological state, and will not provoke criticism. At the Moment i think the quality of replies on SS List is low and neurotic therefore i recommendend other lists. I am most curious to know what brought you to that as I did not ask for anything, did not suggest spending " thousands of dollars " for any rituals and what was recommended every one can do to help themselves.
