Guest guest Report post Posted April 3, 2010 Bhagavan Ramana said: " Mind is a bundle of thoughts only. All thoughts proceed from the 'I' thought. Look for the source of the 'I' thought and remain there. " Namasthe. It is easy to say that than done. Bhagavan himself has said, doing Atma Vichara or direct Enquiry is very difficult and the failure rate is very high. ( I had read this about 15 yrs back. pl correct me if wrong) All Upasanas lead to Chitta Suddhi which is easier and lead you to the Atma Vichara stage. Bhagwaan had never recommended any upasana other than Giri Valam. Though he was ever immersed in Brahman, his Bhakthy to Lord Arunachala was so much that he did not move from that place. Ambaa sends such great Mahans once in a thousand years to Validate what is said in upanishads .The attainment of Knowledge through Gyna yoga purely. While I think this is applicable for extremely brilliant persons with a high degree of Bhakthy for an ordinary folk like me with a bundle of emotions this path would be very tough and unsuitable.
