A note about posts (request)

While responding to a post, *PLEASE* only quote portions of the post that are

relevant to your reply. Many times, we find a 100 line post for which the

response is another 100-line post (which itself is not wholly related to the

original post), to which a third person simply responds " i agree " or " where can

i find it " or something similar, for which it would be better to just quote the

relevant portion(s) of the original post(s).

 

Also, if the posts are personal in the sense that they are meant for just one

particular person, please write to that person directly. Only post to the list

if your post will benefit majority of the list. For example, offering to share

material is ok to send to the list, since it might be of interest to majority of

the list. However, responses to that post are best sent to the person directly

instead of to the list.
