Play for HER is Pain for Us - Why Pray to Her?

For Ambaa the cosmos is a play and She finds delight in such sport. But does She

not make our plight unbearable ? What She finds delight in , is an ordeal for

us. Then the automatic question is why should we pray to Her. (rebel feeling )

 

Maha Periyavaal wonderfully explains to us as under.

Ambaa is above Maya and it does not affect her and we are deluded by it and what

do we gain by it as we are squeezed and strangled by Maya -- People ask such

intelligent composed many Hyms on Ambaa.

 

Ambaa's Maya power keeps us hidden from our true identity ans drags us down by

giving us the Mind,the senses,the world,worldly goods and the loves and hates.

 

Why then should there be puja to Her and various hyms to elebrate Her.

 

Such a question would be justified if the Maya Shakthy were NO More than Maya

Shakthy. The Maya Shakthy is also Jnana Shakthy. She is also the Anugruha

Shakthy to grant us the grace to free us from Maya and remove us from bodily

bound nature.

 

In summary She is Maya Shakthy, Jnana Shakthy, Anugraha Shakthy and soundarya

Shakthy all included in ICCHA shakthy and the ICCHA is Her desire to play and

release us.

 

We are all born as a result of, She dividing Herself into separate and multiple

Jivatmas and She would finally liberate each jivatma and unite with Her and She

enjoys like, Her Children finally uniting with Her.

We in the Ambaa group enjoy the humns, mantras, shlokas which pay obeisance to

Her and adore Her because all of us have earnt enough merit in our previous

births and that is why we do so.
