Respected members,

Please explain the subtle meaning of this naama from Sri Lalitha ashtothara:

85: bhanda daithya mahaa satva naashanaayai

What is the relationship between Bhanda and mahaa satva? What is the

relationship between satva and maha satva?

If it is elementary for most, apologies for imposing my ignorance.

Thanks,

-gopal

Namaste.

" mahA-satva " means " Great Valour " .

So, the meaning of the name implies that " the One Who Destroyed / Subdued the

Great Valour of the Demond Bhandasura "
