Greetings all,I've been doing kundalini yoga on my own for over 6 months and I have done lots of releasing of anger and fear (used to do qigong and yoga for years). I have been doing exercises for all the chakras. I particularly like the frog and meditation for brosa. I have done the subagh kriya and will be finished my second 40 day discipline tomorrow. I did 2 disciplines of just the first part of the kriya. I have been doing it to improve my prosperity consciousness. I am unemployed as well so during this discipline I started to do the full set (11 minutes each) and I find it very intense to do so that's why I try to do it twice or 3 times a week. I made a donation back in February but still am having financial issues so I am wondering if I need to tithe again or maybe my karma is stubborn and I need to do another 40 day discipline.

I think the subagh has helped me to be more positive so I don't think working on this has been a waste of my time, although sometimes I wonder if it is helping me.Thanks,Paula

Dear Paula,

Survival and providing for oneself is a first chakra issue. Sometimes upping

your spiritual practice is the opposite of what's needed. If you can't afford to

tithe while unemployed, you can give your time and talent. Clearing clutter,

organizing, cleaning, and writing out your true financial situation can help.

Using your talents and staying productive will help your aura to attract

opportunities. Getting challenging physical exercise, stocking up on groceries

and essentials so that you feel safe and secure can also heal the first chakra.

Staying on a schedule and having a daily routine is grounding and centering.

Another thing to look at....how do you feel about the wealthy? Resentment is the

shadow side of the first chakra. It is common in spiritual aspirants to prefer

ritual and meditation to the mundane tasks or running a household and overseeing

finances. You can do both.

You may just be in a transitional phase, finding your right work and right

relationship, which is a key part of Kundalini Yoga.

All the best,

Satpal Kaur

Sat Nam Paula,

Always do the entire kriya in Kundalini Yoga, not just one or two exercises. It

is a precise science and could be ineffective or damaging if we don't follow it

precisely. However, feel free to reduce times on the exercises as much as you

wish. The rule is you can always do less time but not more time than what the

kriya calls for. Subagh Kriya is a five-part kriya, and is unusual in that it

says each part much be practiced for an equal amount of time. It is a great

kriya to do. The important thing in your practice is consistency. Don't get

stuck in this idea of doing something for 40 days. You want to be thinking of a

practice you're going to do for the rest of your life. On the days you're busy

reduce the times. If you happen to miss a day pick it up the next day.

If its money you're after, why don't you chant har har har har gobinday? You

should just play it on loop all the time, especially when you sleep. To chant

it, sit is easy pose, hands in gyon mudra, and chant at the 3rd eye point for

3-11 minutes. Yogi Bhajan said this is the mantra that made him wealthy. Use a

powerful version. Gurudass makes a very good one that you can get from Spirit

Voyage. Gurunam also makes a good version.

Giving a donation is always good, but its not the reason you are experiencing a

financial setback. Build your aura with the yoga so it can hold financial

wealth, and keep your practice strong. Play the mantra. Yogi Bhajan said to the

sangat one time, you people don't understand. You're praying for rain when there

is going to be a flood.

Enjoy!

Sat Nam,

This is not a Kundalini Yoga method but it works very with KY and on everything.

I wish that I had known about it, in the times I lost a job. It deals with

limiting beliefs and takes only 3 minutes of your time.

EFT TAPPING which is a method of tapping on energy merdians on the face and

hands with your fingers and in 3 minutes everything can change. I have gotten

rid of asthma, panic attacks, lack of energy, anger, memories etc. Since EFT

works on everything I am sure that it can work on the reasons you feel that you

are out of work. IT IS FREE, the link to get the pdf manual is:

http://www.emofree.com/

It might take several rounds of 3 minutes each. This week end I used in on my

cat who went into non-stop sneezing. I tapped on her, lol, mostly I did

Surrogate tapping - tapped on myself for her. She stopped sneezing.

The database at the website is outstanding and could give you ideas on how to do

this for getting a job or anything else. You can read how other people use this

method and the results.

I just did a quick search of the data base(at emofree) for 'job' and the first

article: ... She had been laid off from her job... a few months ago, and was

caught in a limiting belief that told her there was no way for her to get a new

job. (you will have to go to the site and to read it)

What I am trying to say is you can use this EFT finger tapping method to get at

your present beliefs about getting or not getting a job and release-change them.

It may take several rounds of 3 min. each, but it will work! I have used this

method for several years now on everything.

Data base:

http://search.emofree.com/search?q=job%20 & site=emofree_articles & client=emofree & o\

Hello,Prosperity has been an issue I have been working on for years. I don't really have resentment towards the rich because I want to be rich as well, although also be a compassionate and generous rich person. I try to make sure I do stay grounded but I don't like cleaning my apartment and I don't think that has to do with being ungrounded. I actually was going through my emails yesterday. I recently organized my apartment since I was having a guest over. Getting rid of some emails was interesting because it gives me a chance to review things. Anyways, thanks for your post!

Hello,I've been listening to the har har gobinday mantra and  I am not sure how to pronounce nirnaamay. I was listening to the songs on spirit voyage but there seems to be 2 slightly different ways of saying it.

Thanks,PaulaOn 5/29/09, gurujasharijiwan <gurujas wrote:

Sat Nam Paula,

Chant the whole mantra as you wrote out below from the navel, ideally for 11

minutes a day. Do it along to a recording to help you with the rhythm and

pronunciation. And play it while you sleep. The ambrosial hours, 2.5 hours

before the sunrise, are the times when your subconscious is most open, and its

important to get the mantra in there during that time.

The amount of wealth a person has is directly proportionate to how far the aura

penetrates the earth. So we want to get your aura and nervous system strong with

the yoga (subagh kriya) and bring the prosperity and wealth with the chanting

(har har har har gobinday).

Sat Nam Cristina,

The mantra Har Har Har Har Gobinday can be bought from Spirit Voyage. Gurudass

makes a great version but I don't know where you can buy it. Gurunam's version

can be purchased here. It is also very good:

http://www.spiritvoyage.com/yoga/Green-House/Gurunam-Joseph-Michael-Levry/CDS-00\

1239.aspx

Just chant it from the navel for 11 minutes a day, play it around the house and

at night while you sleep, and do some kundalini yoga everyday so your nervous

system and aura can hold the energy of prosperity that you generate.

Much Love

Sat Nam

Hello all,I've been doing the har har har har gobinday (the past 3 days) and the gan pattee and today I found it made me quite out of it so I am assuming that it's clearing away blockages? I went for a walk to get grounded since I felt spacey. I think it maybe better for me to work on them before I go to sleep.

I actually had a temp agency call me today as I've been sending alot of resumes out this past month and a half so maybe this gobinday mantra is quite potent. What are some other benefits of that mantra as I read the gan pattee is good for making the impossible possible.

ThanksPaulaOn 6/1/09, gurujasharijiwan <gurujas wrote:

Sat Nam Cristina,

The mantra Har Har Har Har Gobinday can be bought from Spirit Voyage. Gurudass makes a great version but I don't know where you can buy it. Gurunam's version can be purchased here. It is also very good:

Just chant it from the navel for 11 minutes a day, play it around the house and at night while you sleep, and do some kundalini yoga everyday so your nervous system and aura can hold the energy of prosperity that you generate.

Much Love

Hello all,I have another quick question about the har har har har gobinday mantra. Since someone said here to do it in gyan mudra, which I read is good for removing blockages, is it advisable to switch to buddhi mudra, which I read is for attracting prosperity, wealth and friends? I would think it would make sense to work on removing blockages first or can one use the gyan mudra in the morning and in the evening the buddhi?

Thanks,PaulaOn 6/1/09, Paula Lucidi <plucidi wrote:

I'm rather fond of the " heartbeat " version by Guru Shabd Singh. And pump your

navel on the Hars! If you go on a walk by yourself, you can sing it in rhythm to

your pace, like a march. It's very pleasant and easy to work into your life.

Sat Nam Gurujas,

Thank you for the great help you prepared for me. I found very precious this mantra and the song you sent to me and I am listening and start to pronounce step by step. Please guide me to do well and corect this incantation of mantra. Do I have to do something special with my hends? To move in a same time with prononciation?

Be blessed,

Sat Nam Cristina,The mantra Har Har Har Har Gobinday can be bought from Spirit Voyage. Gurudass makes a great version but I don't know where you can buy it. Gurunam's version can be purchased here. It is also very good: http://www.spiritvoyage.com/yoga/Green-House/Gurunam-Joseph-Michael-Levry/CDS-001239.aspxJust chant it from the navel for 11 minutes a day, play it around the house and at night while you sleep, and do some kundalini yoga everyday so your nervous system and aura can hold the energy of prosperity that you generate. Sat Nam Paula, Cristina,

When chanting this mantra, chant from the navel. You can use buddhi mudra or

gyon mudra, either is fine. There are no meditations that call for hand

movements to accompany this mantra, that I know of. The main thing is to keep

chanting the mantra consistently.

Paula, rather than doing 11 minutes in the morning and 11 minutes at night, why

don't you do 31 minutes? If you have the time, 31 minutes is a more powerful

route than two 11 minute meditations.

Many Blessings

Hello,I will try to get up to 31 minutes on the har gobinday kriya. I am able to do 31 mins on the gan pattee. Is it okay to do both of those twice a day? Thanks,PaulaOn 6/4/09, gurujasharijiwan <gurujas wrote:

Sat Nam Paula, Cristina,

When chanting this mantra, chant from the navel. You can use buddhi mudra or gyon mudra, either is fine. There are no meditations that call for hand movements to accompany this mantra, that I know of. The main thing is to keep chanting the mantra consistently.

Paula, rather than doing 11 minutes in the morning and 11 minutes at night, why don't you do 31 minutes? If you have the time, 31 minutes is a more powerful route than two 11 minute meditations.

Many Blessings

Greetings all,I am feeling alot of desperation because I am urgently needing a job and it is freaking me out. I am being proactive with sending out resumes, calling agencies and also with my meditations. Last week I felt pretty bad. I'm doing all I can and that still doesn't seem to be enough. Do I just keep at it and try to release this desperation which is really fear? It is quite hard!
