Guest guest Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Sat naam, I have posted 2 new very short spiritual stories ( " Devotion " and " Songbird " ) to my blog http://seekerofone.blogspot.com/2008/04/devotion.html ~~~~~ I was quite intrigued by GurkirpaGuruKhoj's post about brain yoga It does look too good to be true (but as we all know some wonderful things are pretty easy . I'm just wondering if any of you yogis have tried this for a long period of time and seen any results? ~~~~~ While we are on the subject of head organs, how about eye yoga? I met this young yogi from Seattle (actually he looked 23 but he is about 46 - no kidding) who told me that in the " olden days " doctors would prescribe eye exercises if one's eyesight was bad (mostly because eye-glasses were way too expensive). But now since eye-glasses are so available, doctors just prescribe glasses. He also told me an amazing story about this women who was wearing thick glasses for 5 years and suddenly no longer needed them after a healing session in which she had a psychological breakthrough. I also realized that eye muscles are one set of muscles which we never exercise (especially for all-day-computer-staring folks like me). I did try the eye yoga sets I found on the net and I actually saw an improvement in my eyes just after a few sessions. Has anyone had any experience with eye yoga? Did Yogi jee every mention that? take care, waheguru waheguru... Quote
