We recently released a CD on Ahobilam Krithis of

 

Saint AnnamAchArya , one of the famous sishyAs

 

of Adhi VaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar . Annamayya

 

had Ahnika , Grantha Chaathushtya KaalakshEpam

 

under Aadhi VaNN SathakOpa Jeeyar , who was

 

initiated into SanyAsAsramam by Ahobila Narasimhan

 

Himself . Annamayya's sankeerthanams on Lord

 

VenkatEsa and AlarmEl Mangai ThAyaar are well

 

known . His Krithis on Ahobila KshEthram , its presiding

 

Lord and on Bhagavath RaamAnua as well as those

 

on His AchAryan , Aadhi VaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar

 

are not however well known .
