Gruhapravesham during agni nakshatram

I would like to know if gruhapravesham can be performed during agni

nakshatram period. What is the duration of agni nakshatram this year

(2008)?

It was mentioned in " Paranthaman Panjangam " page 20 of Sarvajit year as:

 

The karmas (functions) can be performed during Agni Nakshathram are :

Vivaham, Upanayanam, Poochoottal, Grihapravesam, Rudhu saanthi.

Things to be avoided in this period are :

New pond (kulam)or well (kinaru) making, New gardens, Fields, Tree plantings.

You can guess the reason, all the listed things are required plenty of cold

water otherwise the plants and trees will go loss.
