Guest guest Report post Posted April 9, 2010 Srimathe ramanujaya Namaha Paramakarunikar Sri Periyavachan Pillai in his thiruppallandu vyakhyanam says, " visEshiththu thirunakshatram sollAdha vidaththukkellam eduvE thirunakshatramAga kadavadhu " . Thiruvonam is the thirunakshatram of vishnu in general so it is applicable to Narasimhavataram also. Moreover azhvar here says thiruvizhavil instead of thirunakshatraththil because as all of us know that periazhvar is always filled with " pongum parivu " so he hides the fact inorder to protect perumal from evil eyes who can harm him. ( " vugavAdhavargal arindhu apasarippar endru anji, thiruvonam engira thirunALilE endru maRaiththu solgirAr " says Sri PVP) Asmad gurubhyO Namaha Adiyen ramanuja dAsee Sumithra Varadarajan Vanamamalai , Narasimhan Sampath <adiyen wrote: > > Dear Sri Balaji, > > here is the possible explanation from my elder brother below.
