DEAR SRIVAISHNAVAS,

KURESA VIJAYAM 19 - “Shiva Adorns Brahmas Kapala as a Garlandâ€

At the end of each Kalpa, numerous Brahmas are destroyed. Making these (Brahma’s) heads as garland, our Uma devi’s better half adorns that around his neck. Hence our LORD Shiva is the one and only God claimed the saivas

Swami Koorathazwan’s humble relpy:

Ø These Sruthi Vakya clearly implicates that Rudra was born from Brahma:

“Sapprajapathirek: pushkaraparne samabhavath lalaatathkrothajo rudra: thraiyaksha:

Kantaparasu:: - varajjanasambhavath sarojayatha, indhro varuna: somo rudra: parjanyoyama: brahmana: puthraya jyeshtaya shreshaya puthraya rudrayaâ€

That Brahma alone emerged from Lotus flower of Lord Vishnu.

From that Brahma, Rudra was born.

All the devas including Indra, Varuna, Soma, Rudras, Parjanya, yama etc.. were born.

“Athapurushohavai Narayanassokamaya thaprajaas srujeyethi,

Naryanath Brahma jayathe, Narayanath Rudro jayathe

Narayanath Indro jayathe, Narayanath dvadasaadhithya jayathe

Rudra vasava: rushya: prajapathyaccha poorve deva samudhpadhyantheâ€

From that Sriman Narayana,

Brahma, Rudra, Indra, 12 Adithyas, 11 Rudra, 8vasus, 7 Rishis, 9 Prajapathis et all devas were born.

Ø This apparently ruins the Saivas attempt to prove that, the word “Rudra†mentioned in this verse is Ekadasa Rudras and notShiva. But the above verse clearly states that Shiva who is called rudra emerged from Narayana and 11 Rudras also emerged from HIM.

Ø Vishnu obtained the name HARI as He is the rationale behind the Samhara of Shiva and Brahma at the end of each Kalpa. To denote this, Before and after Veda Adhyayana the adhyapaka always starts with Harih: Om!

Sri Vyasa Says thus..

“Brahmaana mindram rudrancha – yamam varunamevacha nigrahaya harathe yasmath – thasmath thariri hochyatheâ€

As Lord Vishnu show Nigraha and destroys Brahma, Indra, Rudra, Yama, Varuna …

HE is entitled as “HARI:â€..

Ø Moreover if it is veritable that Rudra kills Brahma and adorns his kapala,

It will disprove the following Veda Vakya which says that at the end of each kapla neither Brahma exists nor Shiva. Only Narayana alone exists. So the Saivas Paksha is unacceptable.

“Nabrahma nesana:….â€

Ø Ramopanishad’s verse:

Kathayathi bagavani haanthyakale bhavavhayadhara kamprapothamithiâ€

These verse of Rama tharaka manthra was recommended by Lord Vishnu to Shiva to get rid of the Brahma Kapala Shapa (curse) that Shiva acquired after plugging his father Brahma’s Head.

So the real fact is that only Shiva got the Brahma Kapal Curse which was exterminated by Sriman Narayana and Saiva’s claim that Rudra adorns Brahma’s Kapala is a buzz…..

Concluded Swami Koorathazwan.

To be continued………
