The phalam is derived out of puberty Lagna (there are certain thumb rule tests to verify the correctness of the time declared by parents) month,nakshtra,tithi,vaara and Amsam of puberty.It is generally believed to indicate soubhagya after marriage in addition to horoscopes at birth.
