strengthening Karka of the house. Karka of 3H is Mars. He recommends checking

the strength and lordship of karka (Mars in this case) in the chart. If

the planet is a functional benefic wearing a gemstone (Coral in this case)

can help. Alternatively you can propitiate the karka.

I disagree that Jupitor is like in exaltaion in aquarius. Rath wrote in the past about it:

 

The fact that Jupiter is in the third house as the lord of Lagna does

cause Marana Karaka to operate on the lagna and the fourth houses for

Dhanus lagna and that this will happen in the lagna and tenth house for

Meena Lagna. I will discuss the positions independantly and cite two

cases.

 

Dhanus Lagna

 

Guru is the lord of Lagna and the fourth house and its placement in the

Marana Karaka sthana causes the houses owned by it to get annihilated.

These houses rule various matters. For example, the fourth house rules

properties, houses, mother etc. In one case, the Moon (karaka for

mother) was in trines to the 4th house, so mother is protected. Mars is

the Atmakaraka and is placed in the sixth house from the 4th house in

Leo. There is Guru mangala yoga but this is not going to favor the

native in matters of properties. The native belonged to a very landed

family from erstwhile East Bengal. With partition, he was separated

from all those properties and during the time of his birth and growing

up, his parents has already suffered a severe downfall in their status

etc. All that property is lost once and for all and can never be

recovered.

 

Thus, you can see that the native has suffered the 'marana karaka

sthana placement of Jupiter at birth itself' - today there are no

properties for him to inherit, this also destroys the big ego (lagna)

that comes with these properties...good for his spiritual growth. Other

details you can ask him..he is a Jyotish Guru of SJC. He will tell you

how the blessings of maharishi Jaimini came and he went to singapore.

 

You see when the lagna lord is in marana sthana then the native goes

abroad or leaves the lagna (place or nation/culture of birth).

 

Meena Lagna

 

There was this nice lady who was our junior and good friend in the

Defence Ministry. She has Meena Lagna with guru in the third house in

Taurus. She always had the deep desire to stay in a foreign land. When

the time came, she was asked to wear a POKHRAJ (yellow sapphire) and

told that she would go towards the south, probably Australia etc with

her spouse and would stay in a foreign land when the blessings of the

Guru. She wore the pokhraj, her spouse got a posting in Australia, she

went there with him. Now you will see that she almost lost her IAS

Allied services job in the government because of this, and then

promptly took out the pokhraj and returned to India as she wanted to

have the job.

 

You see here Guru acted as in Marana sthana for lagna and hence takes

the person abroad. Since it is also the tenth lord, she almost lost her

government job as well if she had continued indefinitely out there.

This means that the attitude towards relationship(Lagna) is like' dying' and there is destruction of 4H, which signifies the work place of the spouse?

Is the remedy similar to the one applicable in rasi chart?

like avastha and bhavakaraka in kona to Surya or Karyabhava. Gem of

fifth lord in D10 improve career situation, but see how this graha is

pray Lord Vivasvan but also for the explanation with examples. If i am

not wrong then the Jyotish Guru you were talking about is Mr. Sarajit

Poddar and the lady in your example has been mentioned in one of your

article (about change in residence). I have been reading all your

articles and thus want to thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

 

I will certainly start praying Lord Vivasvan. by the way, i want know

whether there is any specific method of praying Lord Vivasvan because

i am already praying Sun God by offering water to him everyday.

In which context do you apply this list? The full list as provided by Kishore promotes and expands goodness of the mind (give peace of mind where religious rites are concerned) - Sun is the indicator and that goes for lagna as the first assessment.

According to Padma Purana, “om hrAm hrIm (name of Aditya presiding for that Vedic month is preferable) namaH” - note the hrAm (saumya) and NOT hrauM (not sure of this and I note you are using this ;-))

 

What happens if the condition of the person is too pitta and you suggest “hraum” as the bija?

Dear Rafal and Swee,

 

The Surya Aditya list has now become confusing.

 

Sanjay ji has used two descriptions. One is based on Rasi signs and Houses, the chart of which I had sent earlier, from his Aditya lecture. In this Dhata signifies Meena rasi/12H and Vishnu signifies Kumbha/11H and so on.

In one of his lectures Sanjay ji describes the 9 names of Surya as per the Digchakra and says that as per Geeta and Sri Krishna, this form Surya will bring health and prosperity. This list is the same as which Rafal has circulated:Su-Surya, Ve-Ravi, Ma-Vivasvan and so on. I presume that this is the one we can use for MKS planets.

 

Which form is to be used when, that is the crux ?

 

Please advise.

One is Dwadasa Aditya, the 12 forms of Sun in the Zodiac, while the other one (comes from Aditya Hridayam Strotra- Krishna to Arjuna) is 9 Graha as GIVERS of animated bodies. Sun is the karaka for self, hence we take lord of the Sun sign for own protection and prosperity. Spouse too come from Bhagavan finally, so I think we can pray for 7th lord from Venus for the spouse.

The Surya Aditya list has now become confusing.

 

Sanjay ji has used two descriptions. One is based on Rasi signs and Houses, the chart of which I had sent earlier, from his Aditya lecture. In this Dhata signifies Meena rasi/12H and Vishnu signifies Kumbha/11H and so on.

In one of his lectures Sanjay ji describes the 9 names of Surya as per the Digchakra and says that as per Geeta and Sri Krishna, this form Surya will bring health and prosperity. This list is the same as which Rafal has circulated:Su-Surya, Ve-Ravi, Ma-Vivasvan and so on. I presume that this is the one we can use for MKS planets.

 

Which form is to be used when, that is the crux ?

 

Please advise.

According to Padma purana, Sristhikhanda 78.22, Lord Shiva said, Every form of ours is Great and removes obstacles and diseases and helps to accomplish all objects. The list of the gocara Aditya is different; verse 23 This uncensured Aditya divided himself into 12 forms due to the difference in time.

24-26 Mitra in the month of Margashirasha, Visnu in Pausa, Bhanu in Caitra etc.

v. 28 – He who recites this everyday incurs no sin nor does he contact an disease nor does he suffer from poverty etc.

v. 30 –33 gives the stotra.

v.50 gives the mantra “om hrAM hrIM name of Aditya, then namaH” when it is recited, diseases, cruel planets (Mars, Saturn, Rahu and associated Mercury and the dark side of the Moon) causing grief will be ineffective.

v.55 what is the use of many other sacred texts or very lengthy stotras (hymns)?

v. 59 – 61 – Recitation of this once, twice or three times daily in the presence of the Sun will give desired fruits (phala).

63 – 65 One who chants this in the presence of a brahmana at the time of appeasing a planet or at the time of meals served (brahmin bhijan) or worship; or one who recites or causes it to be recited in front of yogis, brahmins or in front of deities will be honoured in Vaikuntha.

 

His numerous names are again different, though His form is really the plenary portions of Indra and Vishnu – read the story of Garuda and his relationship with both Indra and Vishnu to get a better understanding...

 

The list you gave is according to the chandas where Rsis play a vital role in the matter of the Gayatri.

This is very enlightening and I shall try and find the original source for further understanding. These explain the gocara Adityas and the mantras of Hram hrim Aditya, for use as you explain.

 

From the Aditya Hridaya strotra we get mantras like Grihni Suryaye namah for overall prosperity and health. As per Sanjay ji's lecture, the relevant Grihini mantra be used depending upon the planet in the Lagna of Rasi chart

My Q was regarding use of mantras for appeasing MKS planets. We need to worship the karaka of the bhava as Sun form. Should we use the 12 Adityas as per Rasi bhava like if Ju is in 3H, use Mitra OR we use the Surya form as per Digchakra- 9 forms of Surya and the Grihini mantras like for Ju in 3H pray to Vivaswan.

 

I hope I am on the right track here. Please advise.
