Dear friends..I have a small doubt. I know that venus is the

significator for vehicles. But what planet signifies driving? How do

we see whether a person is a good driver or not as driving a vehicle

requires one to be confident and alert at the same time. What planets

and placements should we check for this? Can someone please comment on

this?

|| Om Gurave Namah ||Dear Aru, The kaaraka gives the object and also the knowledge to use it. Hence I would say that Venus is the kaaraka for driving also. Usually the 4th house from a given house gives practical education on the bhaava.

dear sanjay,

it is rahu who is karaka for the vehicles and venus, the enjoyment of using a vehicle You might be having well placed rahu to buy a vehicle but if venus is weak, you will not use the vehicle.

On the other hand, if your rahu is not well placed you may not have a vehicle at all but you will enjoy all the vehilces in the world thanks to your strong venus.

On the other hand, skill in r handling a vehicle or an animal is seen from 3rd house in D16

Namaste Kishore ji and others,

This is very interesting to me to know that Rahu is the karaka for vehicles, all this time I thought it was Venus itself. So with the karaka house being 4th, rahu adversely placed from 4th house/lord should deny "ownership" of vehicles to any native, but with favorable venus, the "enjoyment" ( viz a viz use elsewise etc) in such relation will still be there.

Please guide if I am correct in my understanding...

Dear jyotishas...I personally think driving has to do with skill.

So, 3rd house must play a part in this. Driving also needs judgement

and balance. I wonder how to look for these aspects. And Swee...I

don't know how Mars has anything to do with driving. Judgement and

decision making are related to Jupiter and Mercury. Please comment.

Dear Kishore

Rahu is not the karaka for vehicles. Venus is. So,

placement and strength of venus shows vehicles and their ownership

by the native. For ownership we have to check shodamsa again(I

guess!) Since, driving is a skill, I wonder if third house needs to

be checked. Third house also is the house of parakrama, so that

gives all the more reason to consider it. But I am not sure Jupiter

and Mercury have a role here.

Dear Utpal...control is not indicated by Saturn. Controlling the

vehicle or in other words balance of the vehicle depends on other

factors. I am guessing Mercury has a lot to do with reflexes and hence

balancing the vehicle. Mars gives the energy and the logic to make a

judgement.

Dear  Guruji   , Namaskar

Sixth bhava would have more to

say with reaction's while third with actions in sense of defense. In

Your case Mangal lords the third and Rahu/Sani lords the sixth. Sarpa

Yoga and Mangal in badhaksthan (lot of agni tattwa) aspecting Lagna

will change a lot. You have also Scorpio Lagna with Ketu which gives

agni tattwa within realm of Tapasvi Yoga. I think Your reflex is good

but there can be many mistakes due to Ketu in Arudhapada (the most with

medicines / health as You once told in Your lecture, Guruji). Mangal in D30 Lagna will also give reflex.

Dear Swee ji, Aru ji and others,

Namaskar.

Driving requires mechanical skills-gross and fine motor skills too apart from good judgement and decisiveness. So Mars is also an important indicator/significator for driving anything associated with mechanics. This is an observation of a novice, so I would prefer commments of learned gurujis.

What would the effect be, I wonder when Venus, Karaka for vehicles and Mars(exalted) are yuti in a dusthana, 8th lorded by Saturn, aspected by Rahu in Kanya and AL. I request inputs from the learned.

Dear Guruji , Namaskar

Sixth bhava would have more to say with reaction's while third with actions in sense of defense. In Your case Mangal lords the third and Rahu/Sani lords the sixth. Sarpa Yoga and Mangal in badhaksthan (lot of agni tattwa) aspecting Lagna will change a lot. You have also Scorpio Lagna with Ketu which gives agni tattwa within realm of Tapasvi Yoga. I think Your reflex is good but there can be many mistakes due to Ketu in Arudhapada (the most with medicines / health as You once told in Your lecture, Guruji). Mangal in D30 Lagna will also give reflex.

Dear Aru,

I think differently here. I believe that Without Saturn, Control is

unimaginable.

1) Most of the true spiritualist has Influence of Saturn over moon in

their chart. It is eveident that they realised the truth with the

Control of Mind.

2) Without control of Saturn, Jupiter becomes theorist - Pundit with

only book knowledge - check chart of Sanjay Rath & other many

scholars who has saturn's control on Guru

3) Mars becomes madly agressive if not checked by saturn. the energy

may be wasted.

4) Saturn is the major influence along with ketu which brings

forth 'Tapaswi' when they control Venus.

just few thoughts. The idea is borrowed from Shri Ashwin Rawal who

wrote am wonderful article regarding Saturn a controlling factor many

years ago.

I`m interested to know why do you judge position from the Moon. Also

reflex should be related to Budha as it is exanging the information

between the brain and the organ and action should be Mars. Perception

(Venus) is important factor for driving too and could be responsible

for coordination, or is it akasha tatwa (Guru)? I hope You`ll clear

my doubts.

Dear Rafal

All these devas actualy work through the mana, and hence the mind is crucial. All reactions etc are based on the quality of the mind, the Moon. Detailed list is in Saravali with results of planetary aspect on the Moon in signs.

Remember the Gita...

The Moon is the charioteer, th Sun sits in the chariot and the body is the chariot.

Who is going to be my minds charioteer is the question of the Gita. So it is the Moon that gives the driving skills. what is being driven, the conveyance is from Venus. The one enjoying the drive is the Sun. The Moon usesall the other grahas/devas to control and run the vehicle.

Jup/Ven give the guidance...turn right, turn left. Venus shows the practicality in driving, Jupter shows the subtle sixth sense that connects with all other drivers on the road and keeps millions of people driving with a minimum of accidents. Jupiter really protects as it gives the awareness of driving rules while venus gives the awareness of the vehicle that is being driven.

Mars is the rashness that comes to the mind that causes accidents as Jupiter fails in front of this madness - remember how thay exalt in opposite signs.

Saturn is the forgetfulness by which one loses the way

Rahu is the craziness that seizes people when they drive races while going to office!

Ketu is the mistake that leads to an accident.

Buddha is the use of special navigation tools that help steer the course as Buddha knows geography - thats wh he gets prthvi tatva.

....so many do so many things.

ok what was the question?

Dear Aru,

I just remembered the Chart of Shri Krishna. The expert *Driver*

drove to victory, the Rath, from one of the most horrible traffic of

Mahabharat war AND one looks at the Saturn's strength in the chart.

Digbali, aspecting Lagna & exalted Moon as well as 4th house.

Dear  Guruji  , Namaskar

Now in Your beatiful presentation

You mix the vehicle of body and vehicle as car altough this allegory

should give the answer to our questions. From Your text it seems that

all grahas has their own say in making one good driver while we were

seeking from culprint. You wrote about moon as giving of driving skills

because of special position in whole structure - that was interesting.

We can discuss if the fact that the Moon is a central tool to give this

ability makes it most important. You also divide benefic and malefics

as givers of strength (ju) and weaknesses (sa) - this can be

overgeneralization as Mangal still can give part of ability. I cant say

about Rahu and Sani as they disturb / debilitate akash tattwa which

disturb contact / action with sixth sense. Please broaden the topic

about craziness of Rahu in this scheme.
