My argument is that Su(placed in own nakshatra) and Me should be the protectors here as they were placed in your AL at that time. So please be careful. Next, in your Rasi Chart, the three benefics Chandra, Guru and Surya are in vargottama and very strong. They are also under curses - Guru is conjoining a malefic and aspected by Rahu constituting Brahmin Shaapa, Chandra is conjoined by a malefic and aspected by Sani and Mangal, and, Surya is aspected by Rahu and Sani. AK and 8th lord and Badhakasthana are involved in all of them. Being a higher benefic, Brahmin shaapa is stronger. However, Chandra is AK and is under three malefic influences, hence Matri Shaapa is also strong. Shani is vakri and 8th lord and in exchange with 5th lord. Some mantra based remedies will work. You are under Sani-Sukra period per Moola Dasa. Ketu is in own house in 12-th from KK aspected by exalted Surya who is in very high Vaisesikaamsa and happens to be Guru Devata - Sri Raama. Please worship Sri Raama and Sri Ganesha and Matsya avataara of Sri Vishnu. Please notice that there is a strong Pitri and Preta Dosha in the Dwadasaamsa Chakra with Mangal and Sani in the nodal axis. I am not discounting your point about Sun and Mercury. The day earlier, the 22nd was eclipse, Moon was with Sun afflicted by Rahu, Mars and Saturn. Moon is my antardasa lord. Something bad was to happen. But being in Virgo an earth sign and 4th house (vehicles or home)I had a hard time understanding the water based accident. And I was worried from the time Moon antar started because Matri shapa is there. The gaja kesari which is there in every varga chart cannot be manifested due to the shapa on Moon. But I am not very sure about Brahman shapa, Jupiter is aspected by Rahu. Only if 2 or more malefics aspect a benefic there is shapa. I am not sure if Ketu would be considered a malefic in this case. I may be wrong. I do have another question for you, Shani is vakri, the 8th lord, how will this help in mantra remedies? Dont you think being vakri and exalted, the effects would be reversed? That way maybe others will comment on my analysis and I'll learn something new. I don't see a brahmin shaapa, I see only curse on Moon. Although AK and 8th lord is involved, there is no rasi drishti only graha drishti. So the curse will have effects only for a certain time period. Also, I see that you have Ju and Ke in A5 in lagna, so Mantra Japa should work very well. Also, Ju is vargottama!! There is indeed Brahmin Shaapa as Guru is conjoining Ketu (malefic) and aspected by Rahu (malefic). This is a strong curse in combination with matri Shaapa as they involve rasi drishti also. Further Guru and Chandra are vargottama indicating that a high Brahmin has given this curse. Also notice that Guru is Badhaka and conjoins nodal axis and Mangal is posited in the 12-th from Badhakesha. This indicates improper maintenance of Idol worshipped in the last life (Mangal-breakage) and this dosha needs to be remedied. Because Sukra is 5th lord in exchange with Sani, mantra remedies will work but after effort (varki 8th lord). Make sure you read the curse lecture (in the Files section of this group) and Badhaka lecture in Sanjay-ji's website and in his recently published book. Please perform the remedies I suggested before and the remedies of Badhaka as per Sanjay-ji's lecture. I quote the following from the lecture: " Although there is only one operative curse in one life time (generally believed to be so), it is advisable check for allied `curses' or suffering indicated by the evil Müla daçä planet. All the allied suffering will also happen during this time. It is well said that when it rains it pours. The Müla daçä planet which is to deliver the results of the curse will also activate allied curses of other relatives during its daçä thereby ensuring all round suffering and torment." So we should consider the allied curses as they are related here. Notice the strong matri shaapa which will dominate as AK and 8th lord are involved. I think I missed that. I will go through it again. Anyways, I think I got it now. You are considering it only because they are connected. You would not have considered the matri shaapa if it was a separate curse, right. One of the reasons for my question is this. I have been going through Saturn Moola dasa and my brahmin curse is manifesting at this time. Although, the pisacha badha in my chart is unrelated, I do not undertand why it being manifested at the same time. I am trying to do a chronology of my curse to understand it better. Its 10 years (Sa debilitated) so I need to break it up into: 3+3+4 (Am I right?) 2001-9-18 to 2004-9-18 -- All round Suffering, loss of job & position of self, loss of job & position of father, intense humiliation, misundersatnding and strife in marriage, total headless humiliation (pishacha badhaka manifesting - Why?), all my previous savings washed away 2004-9-19 to 2007-9-18 -- Got back job, slowly getting back position, Loss of father (not through death) - father drifted away from the family (he has suffered a lot too due his actions, his career and my marriage), some more totally headless humiliation (pishacha badhaka manifesting - Why?), trying but hardly succeeding to build up savings for the next rainy day 2007-9-19 to 2011-9-18 -- Waiting to see what else fate has in store for me, but I feel spiritually and emotionally better equipped to protest against injustice(??). Maybe because I have moved on from my Mo vimsottari dasa (Mo in MKS to AK Sa) to my Ma dasa (Vargottama 2nd/9th lord in 6th) Thanks again. Guest guest Report post Posted September 27, 2006 Om Brihaspataye Namah Dear Rema, I learnt from Sanjay-ji in Delhi this year, with Saturn or malefics in 5th show mistakes in Japa, and the need to always worship Ganesh before each different mantra, and in my case before each round of mala .I also tend to stop the routine of Japa. Thanks for that Just on the question of Shapas, I heard in the London conference Guru Sanjay jis lecture of Curses and he had catagorically said that incase more than one shapa is active in the chart only one could menifest in a given lifetime. So in this case since you have a brahmin Shapa (which is highest in strengths of curses as ju is the most benefic) then only that can menifest in your life. So by moola dasha only the Rahu Dasha, ketu or Ju could give the results of the Shapa Fructification. I am not very clear on which one As none of them is having any relation to the 8th house to give any health issues. But Ra since is sitting in the 7th house can give some issues with the realtionships during the Shapa fructification years in own dasha I would suspect.
