(1) You may select a day, when Sun transits in 11th from from Meena Lagna, which will ward off doshas.

(2) In my opinion, lord of 3 and 8th in Lagna is to give good longevity for the marriage. You may consider 8th Feb.2009 when many marriages take place in Chennai. This is only my humble opinion. You may seek authentic views from senior astrologers.

Dear sir,

For 15-feb-2009, mesha lagna, I see sun in 11th position. There is a school of thought

saying mere presence of sun or moon in 11th from lagna will serve as an antidote in obtaining a horoscope for muhurtha. Is that acceptable ?.

For 13-feb-2009, meena Lagna has exalted venus who is malefic to muhurta lagna and also serves as an exalted malefic 8th lord in Lagna. Is this still acceptable.

I read somewhere, a mere exalted position does not convert a malefic to benefic. it shows the strength acquired by malefic.

Please help me understand if that is a correct perception.

Need your advise regarding fixing muhurtha.

Girls star swathi , Libra rasi (rishaba Lagna ascendant)

Boy punarvasu. kataka rasi.

Proposed Date of Marriage : 15-feb-2009 Mesha Lagna between 10:15 am to 11:45 am.

in Madras india 80:17 E, 13:05North.

Due to the sun posited in 11 th from Lagna and Lagna lord exalted in capricorn, this muhurtha is suggested. This muhurtha falls on same swati star

However I see the second and seventh lord venus is exalted in 12th house.

Plus it is 6th day after purnima.(waning moon). Is there any remedial measures that need to be done ?.

Another date proposed was 13-feb-2009 9:00 to 10:00 with pisces lagna. Venus is exalted in pisces lagna and malefic for pisces since he owns 3rd and 8th houses.

Here the lagna lord jupiter is debilitated in 11th house and attains neecha banga due to conjunction with mars exalted lord. but jupiter is also malefic.

Is this muhurtha still ok ?.

Analysing the third muhurtha 06-feb-09 6:00 to 7:00 am in makara lagna.

here in Lagna jupiter attains neecha banga. but the lord of 8th sun is in parivarthan with 1st lord sat. plus it is month of jan-feb when Jupiter is in moudyami.

Please advise.

Dear Members,

Please let me make it very clear that this is not an attempt to justify the

event by post-mortem. It is only my loud thinking as to how the analysis

by 4 step theory is clear and logical though I respect other methods equally.

Please refer to message# 16821 dated 17th March 2008 by Dr. Sheetal.

She has predicted the event by 4 step method, giving the timing between

28th May 2009 and 10th June 2009.

In 4 step method it is a rule that the event occurs when the DBAS

complete the chain of 2-7-11 by signifying these houses. As Moon is

the only significator of 7 and Mars the only significator of 2, Dr Sheetal

had predicted the event in Jup-Sat-Moon- Mars period.

However on page 32 of the 4 step course, it is clearly mentioned

that "To find out whether marriage will take place or not, we study

the 7th sub lord. If it signifies 2 or 7 or 11 then marriage will take

place. According to 4 step theory, besides this, 5th house ( 11th to

7th) and 8th house (2nd to 7th) are also helpful or supporting

houses. These 5th and 8th houses may replace the 2, 7, 11

houses in some cases."

In this particular case Dasha Lord Jupiter signifies 5 and 11 on 4th step,

bhukti lord Saturn signifies 8 on 2nd step and 5 and 11 on 4th step.

Actually marriage was celebrated in Jup-Sat-Ven- Ven period. Here

Venus is strong significator of 5 and 11 on 2nd step and 8 on 4th step.

So signification of 5 and 8 by all these DBAS lords might have replaced

for houses 2 or 7 (House 11 is already signified) thus completing the

required chain and fructifying the event. It is a matter of research to

find out under what circumstances such replacement would take

place.

Now, let us consider engagement ceremony held on 13th April 2008.

DBA was Jup-Sat-Sat that time. Jupiter signifies house 9 (contract)

by aspect within the orb (3-22-57 Deg) and Sat signifies house 3

(again contract) through Venus, its star lord. So the time was favorable

for contract i.e. engagement.

As Per K.P.

Dasha lord Jup is D Grade significator of 11 (Lord of 11). Mer, Ven

and Ket being in the star of Jup are the strongest significators for 11.

Bhukti lord Saturn does not signify any of the houses 2, 7 and 11.

Here if we consider 5 and 8 houses as supporting houses, Jup being in

5 becomes B Grade significator thus promising marriage. House 8 is

unoccupied and Ven is the owner. Saturn being in the star of Ven is

the strongest significator for 8, thus promising marriage in its bhukti if this

is considered as supporting house.

Further antara and sookshma lord Ven is strongest significator of 5 and

11 being in the star of Jup, occupant of 5 and lord of 11. Further, it is lord

of 8 also.Thus Ven is also favorable to give marriage in its antara. So, in my

opinion, 5 and 8 houses can be considered as supporting houses for marriage.

Step one: whether marriage is promised?

IF CSL of 7 signify 2,7,11 marriage is promised.

CSL of 7 is JUP.

Jup by Star signify { Jup is in star of SAT } XII by lordship and VI by placement.

SO marriage is denied. Is it final?

ASSUMING NO;

Examine chief significator of marriage VENUS and sign-star-sub of VII before accepting the verdict for these two can not be ignored.

Examination of Chief significator VENUS

The Cuspal sub lord of a house indicates whether the matter signified by that house is promised or denied.

If the Cuspal sub lord of house is the significator of main house or any of the secondary house, the matter signified by that house will be promised. Now think! Each house denotes several particular matters; the chief governor of the matter is also to be judged.

If it be connected with the main or any of the secondary house Under consideration, especially with the Star lord of the Cuspal sub lord, it is desirable..

Here for Marriage Main house is VII Secondary houses are 2 and 11.

BUT AS Chief governer and SIGNIFICATOR could it gave marriage? STEP 2. Examination of Main house elements. VII; Me-SU-JU :: SgL â€“ StL-SL Sign lord. Me is placed in Asc as lord of 4,5 and 7 StL Sun is placed in ASC as lord of Nil SL Ju is placed in V as lord of 1.10 and 11 No helpful houses connected for marriage barring 7 for Mer. Step 3 Determine significator. House 2: nil-nil-nil- Ma House 7: Mo-mo-su-Me House 11: Nil-nil-Me,ve, ke So significator are Mo,Su,Me,Ma, Ve,Ke

JUP SAT are not significator of Marriage at all. How JUP SAT VEN VEN gave marriage as joint period rulers? This is crux of problem. Only alternative left is Jup was capable to give marriage for it was a significator at D level for of house XI. What about Sat, Did it give marriage Because Sat was sub lord of II House? There are many cases where that stand as exception to KP known rules. May be Birth Data is defective.

Dear Members,

Please let me make it very clear that this is not an attempt to justify the

event by post-mortem. It is only my loud thinking as to how the analysis

by 4 step theory is clear and logical though I respect other methods equally.

Please refer to message# 16821 dated 17th March 2008 by Dr. Sheetal.

She has predicted the event by 4 step method, giving the timing between

28th May 2009 and 10th June 2009.

In 4 step method it is a rule that the event occurs when the DBAS

complete the chain of 2-7-11 by signifying these houses. As Moon is

the only significator of 7 and Mars the only significator of 2, Dr Sheetal

had predicted the event in Jup-Sat-Moon-Mars period.

However on page 32 of the 4 step course, it is clearly mentioned

that "To find out whether marriage will take place or not, we study

the 7th sub lord. If it signifies 2 or 7 or 11 then marriage will take

place. According to 4 step theory, besides this, 5th house ( 11th to

7th) and 8th house (2nd to 7th) are also helpful or supporting

houses. These 5th and 8th houses may replace the 2, 7, 11

houses in some cases."

In this particular case Dasha Lord Jupiter signifies 5 and 11 on 4th step,

bhukti lord Saturn signifies 8 on 2nd step and 5 and 11 on 4th step.

Actually marriage was celebrated in Jup-Sat-Ven-Ven period. Here

Venus is strong significator of 5 and 11 on 2nd step and 8 on 4th step.

So signification of 5 and 8 by all these DBAS lords might have replaced

for houses 2 or 7 (House 11 is already signified) thus completing the

required chain and fructifying the event. It is a matter of research to

find out under what circumstances such replacement would take

place.

Now, let us consider engagement ceremony held on 13th April 2008.

DBA was Jup-Sat-Sat that time. Jupiter signifies house 9 (contract)

by aspect within the orb (3-22-57 Deg) and Sat signifies house 3

(again contract) through Venus, its star lord. So the time was favorable

for contract i.e. engagement.

As Per K.P.

Dasha lord Jup is D Grade significator of 11 (Lord of 11). Mer, Ven

and Ket being in the star of Jup are the strongest significators for 11.

Bhukti lord Saturn does not signify any of the houses 2, 7 and 11.

Here if we consider 5 and 8 houses as supporting houses, Jup being in

5 becomes B Grade significator thus promising marriage. House 8 is

unoccupied and Ven is the owner. Saturn being in the star of Ven is

the strongest significator for 8, thus promising marriage in its bhukti if this

is considered as supporting house.

Further antara and sookshma lord Ven is strongest significator of 5 and

11 being in the star of Jup, occupant of 5 and lord of 11. Further, it is lord

of 8 also.Thus Ven is also favorable to give marriage in its antara. So, in my

opinion, 5 and 8 houses can be considered as supporting houses for marriage.

With this intension, I have tried to explore and attempted thinking in steps.

On 22 Nov 2008; the day of marriage VD of Jup-sat-ven- venus was in operation.

Step one: whether marriage is promised?

IF CSL of 7 signify 2,7,11 marriage is promised.

CSL of 7 is JUP.

Jup by Star signify { Jup is in star of SAT } XII by lordship and VI by placement.

SO marriage is denied. Is it final?

ASSUMING NO;

Examine chief significator of marriage VENUS and sign-star-sub of VII before accepting the verdict for these two can not be ignored.

Examination of Chief significator VENUS

The Cuspal sub lord of a house indicates whether the matter signified by that house is promised or denied.

If the Cuspal sub lord of house is the significator of main house or any of the secondary house, the matter signified by that house will be promised. Now think! Each house denotes several particular matters; the chief governor of the matter is also to be judged.

If it be connected with the main or any of the secondary house Under consideration, especially with the Star lord of the Cuspal sub lord, it is desirable..

Here for Marriage Main house is VII Secondary houses are 2 and 11.

In chart under consideration. .

Venus is in star of JUP( I,X,XI V) in sub of SAT ( XII,Vi,III viii )

Venus is significator of XI and is chief governor of marriage, so it is really a weak but positive factor.

It is noticeable By sub Venus, is not connected to 2,7 or 11 house at all. BUT AS Chief governer and SIGNIFICATOR could it gave marriage?

STEP 2. Examination of Main house elements. VII; Me-SU-JU :: SgL â€“ StL-SL

Sign lord. Me is placed in Asc as lord of 4,5 and 7

StL Sun is placed in ASC as lord of Nil

SL Ju is placed in V as lord of 1.10 and 11

No helpful houses connected for marriage barring 7 for Mer.

Step 3 Determine significator.

House 2: nil-nil-nil- Ma

House 7: Mo-mo-su-Me

House 11: Nil-nil-Me,ve, ke

So significator are Mo,Su,Me,Ma, Ve,Ke

JUP SAT are not significator of Marriage at all.

How JUP SAT VEN VEN gave marriage as joint period rulers?

This is crux of problem.

Only alternative left is Jup was capable to give marriage for it was a significator at D level for of house XI.

What about Sat, Did it give marriage Because Sat was sub lord of II House?

There are many cases where that stand as exception to KP known rules. May be Birth Data is defective.

I request your views and comprehension for Search of possible reasons.

I must congratulate also for happy event .

So application of KP lead us no where.

some of the conclusions were

1. fruitful significators are Jup, Mars and Moon. But this period will come so late when marriage is not probable

2. Atul should get married between 28th May and 1oth June 09.(Guru--Shani- -Moon--Mars)

3.The marriage will be celebrated on 1st March 2009 positively { outside KP application}

4. marriage is found promised but realisation very difiicult. marriage is found not promised .

This case study is a eye opener!

hope experts will not justify the events ,instead teach where application of rules failed.

It's a very helpful posting for learning. Both methods are agreeable. It is definitely a mater of research, to find out under what circumstances house 5 and 8 replace 2, 7 and 11. Any one who has a clue may enlighten the group, on the mater.
