Thank you also for sending the mail about Shri-Langa. Well this is what I think it should be:- My moon is in gemini 25 deg.08mins.in Punarvasu, which starts at 20deg. Thus the distance traversed by the moon is 5deg.08, which is 308 minutes divided by 800 and multiplied by 360 gives 138.08deg. ou 138deg and 08 seconds. This added to the Langa which is libra 23.55 makes 162deg.03 which I take it that Shri-Langa is 12deg.03 Virgo. Is this correct please? As for determining the balance of dasa at birth I get 3 years 7 months of Virgo Dasa. I should appreciate it if you could correct me. Kind Regards. Dianna. I have worked this out already and when applied on my chart, I found it to be quite interesting and accurate. I also remember having spoken to you over phone about this some time back. SL, in my chart, is in Capricorn whose lord is Saturn and is aspected by Sun from Leo (Rasi drishti). I worked it in my own life and have found that whenever some money has come my way it has predominantly been during the Saturn antar/pratyantar dasas and, some times, during the Sun antar/pratyantar dasa (yes, a little bit during the Sun Mahadasa too - during 1986). Quite interesting. I am now trying it on other charts too - of course, beginning with my own family. Will share information when ready. Moon is Vir 16:10:38 which is 6:10:38=370.63 min from beginning of Hasta Naksatra. Divided by 800 multiplied by 360 is 166:47:06. Lagna added I get 411:09:33 or Taurus 21:09:33 as Sri Lagna. It's lord Venus is in a friendly sign conjoined with Sun which points to the middle class I do belong to. The Sri Lagna is aspected by them as well as by Jupiter which is also good for prosperity. The Sudasa starts from Capricorn (placement of the Sri Lagna lord is stronter the it's 7th) and go counterzodiacal (Sri Lagna is in an even sign). The balance of the first dasa is 5 years 8 months (Cap is sampada, it's lord being debilitated in 10th from it counting counterzodiacal). The dasas run as Cap - Jan 1970-1975 (Counting from the balance) Sag - Sep 1975-1985 Sco - 1985-1994 (Ketu Lord) Lib - 1994-1997 Vir - 1997-2006 Anatar: Sag - Sep 1997 - Jun 1998 Cap - Jun 1998 - Mar 1999 Aqu - Mar 1999 - Dec 1999 Pis - Dec 1999 - Sep 2000 Seems like true. Libra dasa was quite good. It has Jupiter in it aspecting Sri Lagna. So I did not have any warry about finances which all came from my preaching and teaching - as donations. With Virgo dasa it became tougher. It has Moon in it and is aspected by Mars and Mercury (which is also Atmakarak and Badhak lord). So I make my 'fortune' by strenuous efforts, intelligence, writting and PR, in the area of different socially-oriented projects. It's Virgo antardasa was not bad. Nor was the Cap antaradasa. Now, the Aquarius is really tough with Rahu in it and aspected by Saturn, though Jupiter aspect always saves me at the last moment which manifests sometimes through my Diksa-guru, other sadhus, or just unexpected fortune. The next antardasa of Pisces should be easier. It must be like the Virgo by it's intensity and character but this time in the area of teaching fundamental truths rather then setting up management systems and structures. In my case (my chart is in the previous post) I cannot relate too much fortune/wealth to Venus (Sri Lagna lord) pratyantardasas. Ra/Ve antardasa was not bad - from Dec 1993 to Dec 1996 which is more or less in tune with Libra Sudasa (Sep 94 to 97). Sun is together with Venus but I did not notest much fortune/wealth in it's antar and pratyantar dasas. Jupiter is Jupiter and is in my 11th also.
