From the information given by you, it's clear that Sukrachaarya and Parashara (Bhrigu) are two different sages, As i read purans in my childhood, missed that Sukdeva had another name as Parasharaa. The correct facts are as under: Sage Parasaraa was Veda Vyaasaa's father; Sukhar was Vedya Vyaasa's son! Sukha maharishi did not have other name as Parasara! In the vishnu sahasranaamam, we say " Parasaraathmajam vande sukha dadam tapo nidhim " while meditating on Shri Veda Vyaasa which explains things clearly. Let us have some clarity and let us misunderstand everything and everyone spreading more and more confusion in the process (By the way, those exalted sages cannot come and give any evidence; I hope they are not persecuted here!)
