Guest guest
Now is the beginning of the Nine Days Of Mother Divine Every year during this time Mother Divine is worshiped. Coupled with this is the fact that the Transits right now are pretty auspicious. The Sun’s moved into blessed Pisces, the end of the Zodiac. Pisces represents the end and culmination of all life and as such is a fitting beginning for Enlightenment and Mother Divine! Also, today, as the Moon moves to the 11th degree of Aries right now it’s joined by Benefic Venus. Together these two great planets represent a great moment of Cosmic sweetness and vibration. Moon represents Mother and Venus represents Love. Today, let this day be dominated by love of our Mother’s! We each, had one. We also, each have a divine Mother! Sometimes we think that God is a Father. He also, however, is the Mother! I always assumed that God was a father. My Christian upbringing I’m afraid. When I first stumbled upon God as Mother I was shocked! “I thought God was my Father…” I exclaimed. Later I realized Mother was just as appropriate. What is the entire Universe but a big bang! Or a big birth! Our entire World is full of species, after species after species. And all of them are created by, nourished and guided by their Mothers! There’s an Indian saint called Amajii who’s become quite popular lately. She’s called the hugging saint and many people think she’s the embodiment of Mother Divine. Recently she was given a humanitarian award from the United Nations. She talked about God. “God, of course is neither male nor female. God is much more then gender. But, if we have to think of God in terms of gender then we should realize that God is mostly female!” I laughed so hard when I heard that. Now I understand the Indian notion that the male God is Shiva and sits in the absolute. Out of his navel, Mother Divine created the entire Universe. I like that. I like thinking of Mother existing everywhere, in every fabric and morsel of the World. What a comfort it is to the heart to know that Mother is there guiding and loving us. My heart swoons with her! Let us, let her divine rays flow within us. Let these next days of Mother Divine enlighten your heart and soul and bring you the greatest peace and understanding as to your own Jyotish during these days. Mother Divine, herself, is one of the greatest Jyotish remedies imaginable! As we open ourselves to her the Moon inside of us expands. It grows and grows, like the ever Waxing Moon until it peaks in fullness upon the Full Moon. Then, the Moon turns inwards and inclines us to rest. Rest and activity, activity and rest; both are the intimate cycles of the Mother, blessed Moon and our inner most selves! Jai Ma!
