Respected Madam,

I am at very beginning stage in astrology and hence unable to completely

understand the inferences you made.

I understood the firt para but the nakshatra lords part i'm not clear.Sun is in

saturn's nakshatra who is the lagna & dasha lord. Rahu is in mercury's

nakshatra. Mercury is lord of 5th and 8th in 5th house aspecting 11th. However i

did not understand how is he related to this. Is it because he is karaka for 6th

house of disease?

I'm trying to study and learn astrology(at a slow pace though because of my

other commitments) and i find this group very interesting.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Jyothi

conjunction of 11th lord who indicates difficulties and disease. Dasa lord

Saturn, in nakshatra of lagnakaraka Sun, occupies Sun's sign Leo. As we know,

Sun, along with lagna signifies head.

Dear Jyothi,

Thank you for submitting your chart for consideration of dandruff.

I've looked at your chart for all of 45 seconds, and I have to stop to ask:

isn't it misleading to say that you have dandruff - Don't you actually have a

whole bunch of health issues, all of which are confusing and difficult to pin

down, dandruff being only a relatively minor one of them?

In any case specifically to dandruff I notice Mercury in the Sun's 12th House,

and Mercury conjunct Mars in Aries in the navamsha, from which he aspects the

lagna and 2nd house - and affects both the moon and cancer. As a result mars

damages the skin (mercury) and a major source of healthy kapha, the Moon. And

this is effective on the physical body (lagna) and the cosmetic appearance (2nd

house / facial beauty).

This is as effective as it is, because (A) Mars occupies Mercury's sign in the

rashi and thus they are connected there too, and (b) mercury is in the 12th

house from the Sun - getting thus a bit of a demerit for solar/health issues.

But most of all it is because your Sun is on Mrtyu Bhaga degree in the house of

illness, in the company of Rahu - therefore your chart is more vulnerable to

things which indicate health weakness.

Yours,

Vic DiCara

PS - look at your navamsha. See how MARS and the SUN are drying up the kapha

(Venus, Jupiter and Mercury) in such ways that affect the lagna, the langesh

(affecting the body), and mercury (affecting the skin).

Respected Sir,

Thanks for your analysis. I do have small problems regarding health but did not

think too much about them till now.

One thing i am sure is i have very weak constitution. I do not have much stamina

as such. If i stay in hot sun for 15 mins i faint off. After i started learning

astrology i thought it was because of my lagna lord in satru rasi, star and

navamsa.he is also at rasi sandhi and in bad avastha. However i never discussed

these things with anybody as i'm very amateur in this field. After your mail i

thought for some time about my other small problems.

I do have RLS(restless leg syndrome) its kind of nervous related

disease(mercury?) with no proper medicine. It reduces with more physical

activity and is more bothering at night. Though it is a discomfort its not

serious as of now. It started in my pregnancy(2007, moon antardasha,6th lord)

when i was advised bedrest for 5 months.

I also have gastritis but i think its common problem. I'm currently taking

ayurvedic tablets for these problems.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Jyothi.
