Guest guest
Dear Vic, I once cast a chart (based on extensive research). However I no longer have it? Must have deleted it in one of my moments of strong conscience that nagged at me not to draw such an important chart based on unconfirmed data. It was a couple of years ago now (at least) and unfortunately I no longer have the data. It would mean starting over again from scratch I'm afraid. Guest guest
Dear Balaji, Thank you for finding that, but surely the date would be BC (not AD)?? I've read the post (6 Dec 2005) and see that I calculated that using GJ software which I no longer have installed...could reinstall it I guess but would rather not as it takes up so much disk space, which is getting low I'm afraid and there doesn't seem to be a way to calculate this with PL? Guest guest
Dear Vic, Thank you for that. Now I just have to figure out how to open it in PL? As for how I arrived at that date, it was a long time ago and is quite a stretch for my memory. However I do remember some research done by a (Christian) Minister that led me initially in a certain direction. I think his name was something like Moby...similar to that. I'd have to do a search. I do remember the chart definitely had Capricorn rising with Sun in 3rd. Raman's data for chart #4 (Jesus Christ). Theologians agree that Dec 25th is not actually Christ's birthday...just as the day we celebrate the Queen's birthday (for instance) is not actually her birthday. I also cannot find any strong evidence in that chart that supports the life or (importantly) the death of Christ. One clue I feel is worth looking at is Parashara's statement in Ch.44: 25-31. THIRD HOUSE AND DEATH: O excellent of Brahmins, if the Sun, being with strength, is in the 3rd house from the ascendant, one will obtain his death due to a king (or legal punishments). You might like to look at the chart for Mar 1 0007 (01:21) which, according to Goravani Jyotish gives Capricorn rising with lagnesh Sani (conjunct Rahu) in 9th and Sun (conjunct Ketu) in 3rd (Pisces). Interesting is the conjunction of JU/VE in 4th house; this house is said to govern graves/graveside and, as we know, both his death by crucifixion (3rd house) and resurrection from grave (4th house) are the basic tenets of Christianity. Note also the exchange between 9th/2nd lord in light of his teaching (preaching). According to this chart, he could have been in dasa of RA-SU-JU at time of death/resurrection. I don't know how accurate GJ is at calculating BC charts...perhaps (time permitting) you might like to try on your software and see what you come up with. Of course all this is mere speculation as no one really knows when he was born and I have my doubts if GJ has even calculated this correctly; but look also, in this chart, at the indications of enlightenment: *Moksha lord Sun conjunct Ketu. *12th moksha lord Jupiter (dispositor of Ketu) in 4th (moksha house). *Jupiter and Venus both in nakshatra of Ketu. * Moon, Saturn and Rahu are all in nakshatra of 8th lord Sun. Then in PL just go to the File Menu, Open, and go to the desktop in that dialog, and double click the file you saved from the email attachment. That should open it. Guest guest
Thank you Vic, I did manage to open it, but, believe it or not, it came up as Mrs. Wendy's Jesus Christ 7 Nov 2008 12:39:02 Bethlehem-Waldheim, Israel ?????? I've written to the staff at PL (customer service) to try to resolve this problem. In the meantime I'm going to reinstall GJ (Goravani Jyotish). ///And I agree, I found it EXTREMELY odd that Raman did 12.25... in fact I found it incredibly reassuring that even such an eminent personality as he could be so fallible./// Hope I don't stand on any toes here but I've read (somewhere) K.N. Rao saying that B.V. Raman was often fallible... ....as we all are, no doubt!..>> Just to add a line over here, Sh. K.N. Rao, is of the opinion that birth data used in his book entitled Notable Horoscopes, by Dr. B.V. Raman, in regard to certain personalities are wrong. Further, he was always critical of Dr. B.V. Raman's, Ayanamsha is not a correct one, hence the Ascendant of the Natal Chart and divisional charts go wrong with Chitra Paksha Ayanmsha and beginners should bear this in mind. >>>PS: I eventually came across the Moby Dick chart (only) after I'd spent a lot of time researching the date myself. This chart impressed me due to it's confirmation of my own train of thought. Then after examining the chart it began to be more and more of a possibility. One should do lot of homework before pronouncing the results on any chart (famous personalities, there is always a chance the data may be incorrect). Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.
