Dear Wendy,

You are right that Chicago falls under CST. And, it is correct that 6am at

Chiago would be 9pm Perth time today.

Regards,

Krishna

Dear All,

Can someone just confirm for me if Chicago falls in the US CT Zone. I think

I have it right but just want to make sure. If I'm right 6.00am US CT would

be around 9.00pm Perth time - allowing for our present daylight saving - am

I correct with this?

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Dear Su,

Many thanks for that... Actually I do have that site bookmarked :-)

The problem I encountered yesterday was trying to decide which US City to

put up on the 'World Clock' that I have on my desktop.

(http://kybtec.de/wbx01/ssh01/Home/HomeX01.aspx?adv=gog01 & advs=tst34 & way=adv & dif\

f=c_au_01_ag04x & kw=time_zone & gclid=CK6pr7yAsZECFQdjsgodDBgVfg)

This tool is a great help to know, at a glance, what time it is in different

parts of the world. It even has a feature for an alarm to alert you of the

time a particular event is about to commence (anywhere in the world).

Unfortunately yesterday was a bit hectic for me and I was finding it

difficult to get this brain into gear. I finally decided on a city that I

thought was in the correct TZ but needed some confirmation of that (not

trusting in my own mental alertness at the time :-(

I could have checked in my old Doris Chase Doane's " Time Changes in the

World " but I never thought of it...could have checked several sources, I

suppose, but I just wasn't thinking too clearly.

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy
