Guest guest
Namaste Brendan, Deepak Chopra got a very powerfull tehnique called Bliss tehnique for healing with mantras from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He thought and helped many. However, both Guru and Shukra are neecha in navamsa chart. I feel it is Mithuna navamsa with mercury in lagna and chandra in trines, that would put neecha guru+ketu in 8th house, that could form Asura Yoga(however it should be checked) In Dasha of Combust guru and neecha in navamsa( no remedy for navamsa neecha) he broke away from his Guru, which is expected having neecha Surya, which I personally do not like. Note as well kaal sarpa yoga involving dharmakarmadhipati yoga(exhange of 9th and 10th lords). About this use of his own meditaion/charge of consultation of 3000 US $ it is predominance of papas in 9th house of religion. He had his chance anyway..Oncoming shani dasha will put him on the trone, while endanger his own health, having chandra dispositor in 8th house(ashtama dosha) which is quite odd for a doctor of such a reputee. Strange and unfathomable are the laws of karma.. If we use Moola dasa, Venus started in 10/89 and it is placed in 10th with Ketu (in own sign. It continued to 10/99 and corresponds to his period of fame, rise and writing. Yes, Venus is neecha in D-9 and D-10, but in D-9 his dispositor Mercury is very strong (especially if we use Gemini lagna). It is in GL in D-10, in virgo. Despite the weakness of Venus (neecha is many vargas) it is highest in shadbala. Though you questioned it on the list earlier, you clarified to me privately that you thought my navamsa lagna (in Taurus) was correct and you started the argument to make some points to students. I have Jupiter in Sg in dharmamsa (D-9). He is in 8th. I was afraid this constituted Asura yoga in navamsa. Though the exact definition in Phala Deepika is not satisfied, your modified definition (just Jupiter in 8th) is satisfied. I am relieved when you say that Asura yoga is for rasi. But I wonder why it cannot be extended to dharmamsa, considering that whether one is an asura or not relates mainly to one's dharma. I have Sun in the 9th house (Cp) in my D-9. Should Sun (a saattwik sura) be considered a malefic when seeing the influence of malefics on 9th in D-9? May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Brendan & Zoran, For Guru droha, a malefic should strongly influence the ninth house in the Dramamsa (Navamsa). Asura Yoga is for Rasi and I don't know if this can be extended to Navamsa. Try Narayana dasa for deepak chopra. Best Wishes Sanjay Rath - <Bpfeeley <varahamihira > Sunday, December 24, 2000 3:50 PM Re: [sri Guru] Deepak Chopra > In a message dated 12/21/2000 3:26:49 PM Eastern Standard Time, ahimsa > writes: > > Namaste Zoran, > > His Ayurvedic consultation cost $3000. Guest guest
Dear Krishna and All, Deepak's chart has been discussed (from different perspectives) several times on both this and the previous JV group. I came across one such discussion whilst looking for something else. First important feature is lagna lord Saturn in 6th house. No doubt lagna lord in this house gives a keen interest in 6th house affairs. I can speak from personal experience in this instance as I too have lagnesh Sani in 6th. Deepak graduated from the Institute of Medical Sciences in 1968 during RA/JU dasa...Saturn dasa didn't come into effect until 1999 (31yrs later). For myself also, I first entered the nursing profession towards the end of Rahu dasa - Rahu tightly conjunct Jupiter and both in nakshatra of 9th lord Mercury. When Saturn dasa began (1975) I had long since left the medical profession. You might like to offer your views, but, to my mind, Saturn was not the direct cause for entering the medical profession in either instance. Hope to be able to spend more time on this soon but, for now I must be away... PS: A feature of Saturn dasa (for Deepak) has been the obstacles he's faced due to litigations involving plagiarism. (all of which, to the best of my knowledge, have come out in his favour) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - " Wendy Vasicek " <jyotishvidya <jyotish-vidya > Monday, December 10, 2007 12:57 AM Re: Re: Sun-Jupiter in same house Dear Krishna, ///I look forward to your comments on Deepak Chopra's chart./// Most certainly; there are some interesting points I'd love to discuss. It was very useful read those messages along with many incidents in his life particularly the law suits portion for and against. I think these discussions happened few weeks before I joined this list.
