I know how much she appreciates all your thoughts and will so enjoy seeing everyone's words on here. I'm running out for a couple hours but when I return I will write and give you a bit of an update on Uttara. I've spoken with her since the surgery and been in touch. She's been doing really well following the surgery and returned home and was already surprisingly energetic and in very good spirits. With respect to her birth time, Uttara has returned to her birth certificate time. I think she feels that it is closer than the one that was rectified and is listed for her in our data base. Due to DST and the odd ways that it worked in some areas, when we put her time in the computer programs it does not come out accurately for what she has researched the actual DST situation at the time of her birth. Her time of birth was 9:06 AM. You can either put in 10:06 and keep it automated in the programs, or hand enter the 9:06 and make it so it does not give the 1 hour DST. More soon. Guest guest Posted August 29, 2007 Report Share Posted August 29, 2007 Dear Krishna, Balaji, and List, Krishna, yes, if using Lahiri, the rasi chart shows Virgo 2:21, so you are correct ;-) Balaji, birth data for Uttara: 28 June, 1951, 9:06 AM Standard time, Chicago, IL. As has been mentioned, if you choose to let the computer program remain on 'auto look-up' you will need to add one hour (10:06) for the DST that the programs allow to get the correct chart. Otherwise just subtract the one hour that is automatically given in DST and leave time as 9:06. Uttara has researched this and found the automatic DST given in the programs to be incorrect at her time/year of birth. The doctors have changed Uttara's pain medication and the new one makes her sleep more. Still she is in very good spirits, although the pain is more intense these past couple days with the area re-gaining more feeling again. She so appreciates all the thoughts, prayers, and concern shown to her by all and sends many, many thanks. I know she would like to be writing this herself but doesn't feel ready to respond to questions and she is not consistently able to write, so correspondence will wait a bit more. She said that she did go to our data base and change her birth time back to her birth certificate time, and that she is very happy to have us discuss her chart if there is interest. She said that she too would enjoy all the learning from this discussion on list. A couple more things that I may add by copying what she has said giving more exact information - such as she experienced what she terms 'medical poisoning' following the surgery and had a very difficult night at the hospital due to that. There is a lot more that she has sent me as far as exact times for her surgery, and other things such as the chart of a relative that she credits with getting her though the first night and much more. If there is interest I am happy to share this with all now after having spoken with Uttara about it and can copy a note with all this information from her for the list. Another thing to mention is that I cast a prashna chart for Uttara after speaking with her on Friday. Data is: 24 Aug, 14:46, Leesburg, VA. Also due to a fluke in Parashara's Light, once again to get the original chart I cast for the prashna, we must again remove the 1 hour DST given automatically when casting this chart. PL has a glitch in that a 'Transit Chart' does not give the correct DST and therefore match a completely newly cast chart with birth details. I have spoken with PL about this a few times - and again today, and am waiting for a response, hoping they will correct this. I sent Uttara a note for much of what is in this chart as it's quite remarkable and shows the divine presence and grace in her life. I can also share this if there is interest. To check this chart yourselves, I have used Krishnamurti ayanamsha, and the chart has ascendant 28:06:01 Scorpio. It's a fascinating and beautiful chart showing so much for her and her situation there. You can hear and see the wonderful effects of all your thoughts, prayers, and blessings which have really touched her and made a difference for her at this time. Great of you all. If you choose to you can add one hour and put in 10:06 instead, the program will give the one hour DST, but bring up the correct chart. Lagna is at 2 degrees Virgo. I'm sure it will be interesting and I am always open to learning more in Jyotish. For me it's educational and intriguing to see how others view a chart. This is the purpose of this list - for learning and discussion. It was sensitive of you to ask ahead due to lal kitab and is appreciated. Uttara phoned me yesterday and wanted me to again let the list know that she is quite comfortable with any discussion on her chart. She finds it interesting and educational in her Jyotish, and also wants all to know that she is taking this experience, which of course is a journey of the physical body as well, but is taking this as a spiritual journey and is very interested in the opportunity this is providing for her, to become more spiritual. - The timing shown for spiritual growth in her chart, clearly realizing that we are not our bodies. This is where her heart is, in the practice of 'witnessing', and with the grace of God, a greater realization and experience of the simple statement that we are not our bodies. She says, " I am not my body or mind. I think this is the goal to transcend to. I think I am half way there and very comfortable. It's very peaceful in a lot of ways and gets me out of the way of myself. I do think I have a lot of guidance watching over me too. I am working on the witnessing part and that would be a very good focus for me and others to focus on. " She also feels that, " If I can get through these next 8 months with chemo and other posions I think I will live for a very long time and better yet, I will be transformed into a more religious stature. hey, that's not bad. " I also want to let you all know that she is reading the posts, just isn't yet able to respond too much, but again appreciates all the thoughts and good wishes. Also she is in better shape now, with much of the necessary medical equipment, which followed her surgery, removed, and she is much more comfortable. If I might please ask that you show how you see this in the chart, your steps in analyzing this. It would be very valuable for me to learn from and I'm sure for others as well. And yes, Uttara does have a son, also a daughter. Also I appreciate your giving this with your thoughts and findings with respect to her husband. Genuine and courageous of you to share your thoughts on this, and again, please show your steps and technique in seeing this in her chart. I personally cannot answer or speak to the situation with her husband, as Uttara and my communication and friendship is of a different perspective. As well, it would not be my place to answer this. Kindest wishes, Patrice _____ Dear Wendy and Patrice From what I conclude Uttarra Ji may have been going through a bad time since last november - health is fluctuating since nov 2006. The good news is she will pass from this period now. Now Im not sure where she lives currently - if shes in the USA it maybe a little difficult to perform this remedy but seeing as saturn is placed in the 1st house in the natal chart I would recommend for her health to mix sweet milk with the root soil of a banyan tree and apply it as a tilak. Do this for 43 days continuously starting on a saturday morning. In addition to this there are some indications (not many as i do not have her palm print so this could be innacurate) her husband may not be of great health or unhappy - forgive me if this analysis is wrong as i mean no disrespect. If this is the case then her husband should take a blue flower put blue ink on it and bury it in the garden. Do this continuously for 12 saturdays. The above remedies are not to be done together. Complete one then follow the next. Also during the saturn mahadasha it is a must that Uttara Ji does not drink, eat non veg and fish. Especially on saturdays!
