there have been discussion on child birth. before judgement on should go through all the rules given in kp or any other system must remeber in mind. for the benefit of new comers i am compiling few rules-

for birth of child houses 2-5-11 operates. in addition to these houses , 3rd house (12

th to the 4th house ) signification is very important for the child to come out of the

womb (which is indicated by the 4th) of the mother ; the 6th represents the

sickness, in case of labour pain during delivery ; the 3rd or 7th indicates change of

place i. e. to the hospital or nursing home for delivery ; the 8th represents again pain,

hospital treatment , operation if it is difficult delivery ; 12 th indicate hospital. ( these

rules are beautifuly compiled by sh tinwin ji and are published in kpezine.

but in fundamental principles of astrology (page, 73) it is published that

barren signs ( aries-gemini-leo-virgo)on the cusps of the 5th and

11 th house (11th house being 5th to the partener) and lords of

these not in fruitful signs, moon not in a fruitful sign, the lagna

not in a fruitful sign, the lord of lagna not occupying a fruitful

sign and no fruitful planets in 5th or 11 th houses , are

indications of NO children. ( cancer-scorpio-pisces are called

fruitful signs, taurus-libra-capricorn -saggitarious are called

semi fruitful)
