clarification Jivani Mark

Dear Priya,

 

I may have sent you the same message two times. My

apologies.

 

One further point of clarification. Since there is so

little time. How about wearing the copper square in

the silver chain? Once I start this upaya, would it

be helpful for me to wear this all the time?

Dear Priya Ji,

 

I write you once more with a short note to clarify

from my last message that what I am experiencing with

my health is mostly severe pain in my upper body.

This often makes it very difficult to study. The

copper square in a silver chain helps some, actually

it seems to help most with discipline, but the pain

makes taking the information in and learning it well

very slow and arduous.

 

Again, I thank you for your kindness and support

during this time.

Dear Jivani,

 

While going to bed for the night keep a handful of Barley under your

bed, towards the head. In the morning immerse it in a river / lake /

sea. Do it for a few days till you get relief in your pain.

Thank you again for the upaya recommendations. A

couple of questions for clarification.

 

For examination preparation and taking the

examination:

 

1) I have been using wooden pencils painted red for

my examination preparation. They are beginning to get

short. Would a red mechanical pencil be the same?

And to begin using it now, would that be like

beginning a new upaya?

 

For scientific memory upaya:

 

2) Could I draw a yellow flower on a bra and have

that be effective? Or, is it better to have an

embroidered yellow flower?

[ 1 ] Yes the red mechanical pencil will be OK. No it will not be

considered as a new upaya.

[ 2 ] Yes, you can paint a yellow flower instead of getting it

embroidered.

Dear Priya,

 

Tomorrow is my examination. You suggested an upaya of

offering a little milk to a temple on the way to the

examination. Is it important what the milk is in when

I offer it? Or, would pouring it directly onto the

temple be ok? The temple I will go to is an ancient

Hawaiian sacred temple that is in ruins now with only

stones in the ground forming its old shape. I could

imagine pouring some milk onto a stone. Please

advise.

 

I have performed all the other upaya you recommended

for preparing for an examination. Thank you. They

have been helpful so far. Now, I pray that I receive

a passing mark on the exam that I will take in the

morning.

Dear Priya,

 

Thank you again for the upaya relating to taking an

examination. I performed all of them exactly as you

said and found strength and clarity and times that

felt like a blessing.

 

I had planned to take two days between the exam and

beginning the last upaya for this exam before I began

the upaya for pain. But today the pain is back so

severe that I write asking if beginning it tomorrow

would be too soon.

 

Before you told me when there was little time one full

day between upaya was ok. This is what there would

be.

 

If it is better to allow more time between upaya, then

I respectfully will wait.

 

If beginning with the barley under my bed tomorrow is

ok. Then I plan to allow one full day after beginning

that upaya before I take a ripe yellow pumpkin to a

temple on Wednesday for improved health.

 

Again, is this timing correct?

Dear Priya,

 

Another question for you that I respectfully submit

for clarification. In putting a handful of barley

under my bed at the head, does it matter what I put

the barley on? And how about carrying it to a

lake/river/ocean? Do you advise carrying the barley

in something particular.

Dear Jivani,

 

You can put the barley for the night in any thing you like. May be a

glass or porcelain bowl would be better. You could carry the barley

to be immersed in any thing.

Dear Priya,

 

More question for clarification, please, regarding the

upaya for pain. Is it best to put the barley under my

bed during day light hours? When I get the barley in

the morning is this an ok time to put a new handful

under my bed, or is it best to do this exchange at two

different times, i.e., take the barley in the morning

and later put more barley under the bed.

Dear Priyaji,

 

One more little point to inquire upon. As I do these

upaya I find myself praying. So often I find myself

moved to ask that not only my health improve but that

this be so for all. Is this ok with upaya?

 

I know I write often, Ji, I do so with enormous

respect for lal kitab and the desire to do them

correctly. I already feel their benefits, so

contintue with huge faith.

Dear Priya,

 

A little more clarification about performing upaya,

please. Up until now I have always gone to the temple

along and to the waters alone and always only when the

journey was exclusively for the upaya. Yesterday,

however, I went to the river for the upaya and then on

to work in the same trip. Does this decrease the

effectiveness of upaya? Do I need to start over? How

about if my husband goes to the temple also at the

time I go to make my offering.

 

Please excuse my lack of knowing the protocol. I am

still new to lal kitab.

Dear Jivani,

 

There is no harm if you do an upaya on way to your work. Similarly

there is no problem if some one accompanies you when you go for an

upaya or do an upaya. You do not have to do the upaya again.

Dear Priya,

 

Thank you, as always for your prompt and kind

response. I am currently doing all the upaya you

suggested relating to health and pain. Sleep remains

a challenge and I clinch my jaw at night, perhaps out

of worrying. I would like to begin the upaya tomorrow

for worries and fear that you suggested. It will have

been three days since I began the last upaya. Do I

understand correctly that I may properly begin the new

upaya now, even though the ones I am doing are not

complete and they relate to health rather than worry?

honey, as you suggest, until I am able to obtain

jaggery. Is it best to consume this at the cross

Dear Priya,

 

Would you please clarify the manner in which I place

water beside my bed to help with sleep. Do I put the

water there during day light hours, or as I am

preparing for bed at night? Or, does it matter?

 

I am happy to report I again believe the upaya you

have suggested are benefiting me. Today was one of

the best days health-wise in a very very long time.

Pain is subsiding some also. Thank you for your

assistance.

You should put the water as you prepare to go to bed for the night.

Water doesn't have to be placed during daylight hours.

Dear Priya,

 

Thank you as always for your response and

clarification.

 

One other question, please. Once I have jaggery for

the upaya at sunrise in the cross road, would this

upaya be only four or five days? Or it is one I might

continue for longer. I am not finding jaggery locally

and so may need to seek help obtaining it from

elsewhere and knowing the quantity needed could be

helpful.
