Guest guest
Dear friends, I was going through the dawn of this Universe, and came to realise that out of Krishna was manifested Lord Narayana and Shankar Bhagwaan too. Lord Shankar when He was offered Goddess Durgadevi as a wife by Lord Krishna, He initially refused to have her as His Wife and asked only for Bhakti of Krishna and to eternally take Krishnas name and be his Bhakta. The story before, and after is of course too long to be put over here. Lord Shiva it is said is the perfect and the best Vaishnav in the world, and not tamasik as people take Him to be, rather He is No.One Sattvic. best wishes, Bhaskar. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji,//> Lord Shiva it is said is the perfect and the best Vaishnav in the world,> and not tamasik as people take Him to be, rather He is No.One Sattvic.// You are right. * Siva can be none but a Vaishnavite and * Vishnu can be none but a Saivaite It cannot be otherwise - and that is one of the horoscopic secret as well I think. For example - * One born in vaishnavite signs (I mean signs assigned to Mercury, Jupiter etc) - are (and in most cases would be) Siva worshipers. * One born in Saivaite signs (I mean signs assigned to Sun, Saturn etc) - and (and in most cases would be) Vishnu worshipers. Cute - isn't it? Now may be you can see why I am a saivaite as well - because I am vishnu (I am virgo lagna and my name is 'Sreenadh' - 'nadha of sree' - i.e. husband of mahalakshmi; i.e. vishnu). I am vishnu, I am krishna (or better I am vishnvamsa, krishnamsa and so I cannot be but a Saivaite!) . The same would be true for many. Guest guest
Dear Sreenadh ji, I was actually looking for somebody to negate what I have written so that it could lead to some arguments and I could enjoy that (Its been a long time, I have not entangled with anybody...sort of makes me feel uncomfortable and abnormal to my nature..haha) , but you spoiled my gameplan... The Ramayana says that those who worhip Rama(Vishnu) but dislike Shankar, has no place in Ramas heart... same is vice versa for those who worship Shankar but harbor resentment for Vishnu. It is said that no male is allowed to visit Krishnas Maharaas when he is with his Gopis dancing in the crimson moonlight, except for Lord Shankar. In Vrindavan theres a place where nobody is allowed to stay at night, because those who stay and see the raas of Krishna either loose their minds or else are found dead in the morning. best wishes, Bhaskar. , " sreesog " <sreesog wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > //> Lord Shiva it is said is the perfect and the best Vaishnav in the > world, > > and not tamasik as people take Him to be, rather He is No.One > Sattvic.// > You are right. > * Siva can be none but a Vaishnavite and > * Vishnu can be none but a Saivaite > It cannot be otherwise - and that is one of the horoscopic secret as > well I think. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji, It is difficult to understand Krishna who represnts the Sampoorna Roopa of Lord Vishnu. Lord Shiva has taken on himself the pnerous task of drinking the extra poison generated by the existence ( and its constant churning ). He is the Shree Bhawani Pati and therefore controls all Shakti - more like the power transformer. He is ogadhdani and therefore gives without apparent discrimination. Therefore he is also the destroyer - giving us fools what we may not handle. He is tolerant and allows even people of Tamsic nature to worship him - but he himself is not tamsic - but ever auspiscious. He is the formost intellectual - with different Bhairav's signifying different aspects. Yet he likes to be spellbound by the raas lila of Krishna - and is mesmerised by the love. He is Rudra, yet most approachable. He is all knowing yet Bhola. He is powerfull yet lets Maa Kali go on an omnious dance and then falls below her feet to embaress her into calmness. He thus gives a rare insight on how to control our tempers - if the anger realises that it is trampling even its originator ( which all angers do ) then it calms down.He is the formost Bhakt Shri Hanuman, an example for all. He is nondiscriminatory allowing all and sundry - beautifull and ugly to be near him. And best of all, he does not bother to dress up too much. I always thought that is a waste of time. Har Har Madadev.
