Zodiacs and Constellations

Andrew, I didn't read the entire article, but my view from long experience

is that the Tropical zodiac is most likely a myth. The traits that are

observed (not theoretical) can be better explained in relation to the

constellations, sidereal signs, their lords and exalted planets. The lunar

mansions also play a role. The solar and lunar zodiacs together explain the

observed traits of the signs. The individual fixed stars probably tone

various zodiac degrees.

This is why I put up my web site--to explain how the traits of Tropical

signs correlate with sidereal symbolism. Cyril Fagan also commented on

this, but he didn't have time to work out all the correlations, and he

missed when he applied **theory** to sidereal signs.

Fagan says that Libra... " produces the most...peace loving types of

humanity. " (Solunars Handbook, p. 27)

Fagan must never have read the myths of Aphrodite/Venus. Venus caused a lot

of trouble to her fellow immortals. Also Libra is the sign of the balance,

and where the stars of the scales lie, legal issues will come to the fore.

The law courts deal with contentious issues. They can be the most

unpleasant of locales. The scales deal with judgement and balancing out

issues and wrongs. The process of creating a balance may be the opposite of

peace as we understand it.

I should ignore the internet for one week and get my articles on Libra and

Scorpio finished.
