Higher Education Through KP

Dear group members, I am relatively new to this group, and hence to KP system. I live in the US, doing my PhD. I have recently bought KP books online and it is with my folks in India. My parents might send the books through anyone of my friends that visit India soon. I have decided to learn KP system. I have my first cusp sub lord as Mercury, so I am hoping I should succeed in astrology. Mercury is placed in Virgo, ninth place from Capricorn lagna. The reason, I want to write an email to our forum is to drive the discussion on higher education. Despite, India is second largest country in the World in terms of population, the country is not doing really well in terms of research, technological sophistication, higher education. We all still we bank on Westerners for research etc, Classical example was what happened in last year's Tsunami, we bank on someother country in the world to help us with

the Tsunami warning system. Why don't we ourselves have it. In this regard, I want to drive our KP stalwarts to share their immense astrological knowledge to the group. The typical questions would be: 1. As per KP, which planet or planetary combinations will help a native succeed a terminal degree, such as MS or PhD? 2. What sort of alignment, as per KP, should the horoscope have to find something new like discovering a technologically sophisticated products, getting patents, succeeding in research etc. 3. To some extend, I understand, elementary education is from 2, basic education from 4, higher education from 9, and success, profit from education from 11. What other things do we need to judge in a horoscope to predict success in higher education. 4. Here the success I mean is not just in simply getting a degree and getting a salaried job and becoming rich. I

mean success here is to drive the entire nation in the technically sophisticated path. Based on your experience, please shed light when India will be the powerful nation. If we happen to see such a combination in any of our customers/friends/family members horoscope we can drive their thoughts into higher education and make our nation successful. Dear Mr Balasubramaniam Our Scientists, and researchers go abroad, as there is not much encouragement at home, for pure research. However there is hope. On prodding by the President, the Govt of India has announced a scheme to encourage basic research. A scholar will get Rs 50,000/- as scholarship, and Rs 5 lacs for incidentals for his research. We hope this will bring out something good. Re KP: 4th house is for education upto college. If 4th cusp is significator of 4th and 11th, one will complete Secondary School. If this is connected to 9th then he will enter the portals of College. If 9th sub is connected to 11 then he will complete his College education. If this is also connected to 2nd, then he will go for Post Graduate studies. Dear Mr Balasubramaniam, Kindly refer to the excellent book,"Astrology & Education" by Mr.K.Subramaniam... The various topics like submission of Thesis,and various planetary combinations for different subjects etc.,for various signs,stars and subs has been given comprehensively...interestingly...on the subject of submission of Ph.D thesis and its successful acceptance etc., K.P says... " One will submit thesis only when the conjoined period of significators of IV & IX operate...if the sub-lord of the IXth is also a significator of the XIth,you will succeed and get a Doctorate..." But,if the sub-lord of the IXth signifies the XIIth and/or also if Sat is connected...you may succeed in the second attempt...only if the period of IX & XI operates...etc... This book will,I am sure help you in understanding this subject as per K.P., and impress you with the accuracy that can be achieved by using the Krishnamurthi Padhdhati... I have been following KP astrology for last 10 to 12 months and I like the approach for doing the prediction. But I don't think it is 100% accurate or more accurate than other systems of astrology (like parashari or vedic system etc). It is rather another way of doing the prediction, may be the method of doing the prediction is bit simpler (e.g. You don't have to remember different yogas etc) . But it is still not accurate as it has been claimed by different practitioners of KP astrology. In my case I consulted Mr. Bala Subramaniam (son of Mr. Krishnamurti ) for doing prediction of my horoscope. In fact I took his service (quite hugely paid one) to do my birth rectification and then doing the prediction. And he tried twice and also tried Horary too but unfortunately he failed to give accurate predictions in both the occasions. I also tried other KP astrologers too but the result is same, they also failed in giving the accurate prediction. So my suggestion should be that nobody should claim that this method of KP Astrology is the most accurate one, otherwise it is a case of misguiding the world who believes in astrology.
