Are we actually arriving at a particular date through a logical process or are we taking something very arbitrarily? If we go to the basic definition of the ayanamsa, the Rishi's NEVER used things like average precession rate that is being used by Lahiri, Raman and other ayanamsa. This is a makeup to make things easier for the low brain people of Kali Yuga so that they can use an approximation all the time and be happy. The *real* ayanamsa is defined as "Chitra Paksha" ayanamsa and this means that "at any point of time, the yogatara of Chitra will be at exactly 180 degrees from the starting point of the zodiac". This definition given by the Maharishi's is PERFECT and accounts for all kinds of variable motions that the earth is subject to including variable rotation over the centuries, variable revolution, variable dip of the poles and that too are changing and so the precession rate is never linear and any attempt at making it linear by stating that the ayanamsa rate is 50.25 or 50.2719 seconds / year is actually the begining of the big mistake. Your observation in point 5 would change as Venus will move to 5th house in Navamsa, but Rahu-Ketu on the 7-1 axis in Navamasa confirm delay. Obstacles have been plenty. OR Another possibility is when Jupiter will transit into Aquarius, 4 factors in favour of marriage fructifying at that time: a) Jupiter will conjoin Mercury (lord of 7th house). b) the native would have reached an age of 36, which will end the debility of Jupiter. c) Jupiter will be aspecting Saturn (dispositor of Mercury). d) The native will be running a dasha favourable for marriage. If we closely examine the chart, the debilitation of Jupiter assumes a greater importance as he is not only the most benefic planet in any chart, but also in this chart he is the Ascendant Lord. Jupiter improves his position in Navamsa. His aspect on 7th house of marriage from the 11th house of gains proves detrimental to the major signification of that house. Even going by the rule, position of any planet in 11th tends to do well may not be hold good in this case. Jupiter the lagna lord and the Venus the 8th lord, both treat each other bitter enemies, who are with the 6th lord in 11th house. Secondly, so far as the marriage of the native is concerned, if we examine the chart from Moon, Mars from the Ascendant aspects the 7th house who also assumes the role of 8th lord here. If we see the chart from Venus who is the significator for the issue under consideration, the Sun who becomes the ruler of 8th house aspects the 7th house. The pattern of obstacles and the hindrances are getting repeated again and again. Thirdly, all the planets except Mars are placed in such a manner that they do not tend to support the native in one way or the other. Sun is placed in his great enemy's sign. Moon is in enemy's sign. So is the case of Mercury, who rules the 7th house of marriage and the fourth house of domestic happiness. Both Venus and Saturn are placed in their neutral signs. The Mars who is the 2nd and 9th lord seems to be a favourable planet in the whole chart since he rules the 2nd and is in his own house from there he aspects his own house the 9th. Further Mars, is with the 5th lord Moon who is waxing and considerably away from Sun. Hence the Mars becomes quite powerful to do anything to the native. But Mars is placed in the constellation of Venus who is the 8th lord and is with Ascendant Lord, both are combust in the house of gains. We have already seen the dignity of Jupiter. Finally, it is to be seen that how much the influence of Jupiter on the seventh house in both, birth chart and Navamsa, is to materialize the marriage for the native. As per the rules of Shadbala, Jupiter has to give more of Kashtaphal than that of Ishtaphal in this chart. There is no doubt about the obstacles and hindrances, but there are silver linings in the chart, which confirm delay but not denial. The moot point being taken up here is whether the upcoming dasha of Mars- Jupiter will be strong enough to confer marriage or will the native have to wait longer. If you're trying to accomplish an alchemy type ceremony using the elements of astrology, if you aren't aware already (forgive my obliqueness), use the cardinal points of a astrological chart. - Fire: begins in the sign of Aries, rising out of the east. - Earth: in the sign of Capricornous, at the midheaven of the world. - Air: in the sign of Libra-setting in the west. - Water: in the sign of Cancer, in the middle of the lower heaven. Perform your ceremonies at each cardinal sign when the sun touches their respective constellations, using sidereal data and finding your points on the Earth according to the path of the sun, and you may have better luck with your timing.
