Dear Members,

Is the Dharshan of great Mahatmas indicated in one's horoscope?

I will be having the Dharshan of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Sun, Jun 18th 2006 ...

perhaps after 10 am at His Bangalore Ashram (77e36 & 13n00).

(Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was born in Papanasam near Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu,India on

13th May 1956, (tob -not known)).

My birth details are as follows:

1140am on 13th Jan, 1955 at 76e18 10n00 (Ernakulam).

This is purely an academic exercise for promoting better understanding of

jyotish.

Regards,

Pradeep

Dear Pradeep,

Hare Krishna.

My reading is purely based on the planetary configuration on that date for

the Spirituality purpose only.

Since, there is no time of birth available, it lacks and limits further

reading about the native. More over, I have no any information about the

native himself what you are referring to about mass appeal, miracles etc.

Informatively I may mention that there are so many so called cheap Yogi

(Great Mahatmas) travelling in this material world in the dress of a Sadhus

whose motive are simply to mislead people at large on the name of

Spirituality being personally motivated for material gain (sense

gratifications) such as name, fame, followers and status etc.

Hope it helps you.

Best wishes....................Amar Puri.

Dear,

Yes we have full faith in abilities of people who have

introduced the part of our culture to the world to

make it a better place.

Our old traditions may be vedic , are so rich that

they make this world a better place . Weather it be

Yoga, Astrology.

Regards,

Rahul

Dear Sally,

You have raised good points. I would like to add that despite some negative

alignments that day as shown by Mr Amar Puri, we should note that by the the

mercy of one's guru and hard work along spiritual lines, all good things are

possible and the evils indicated in one's chart can be transformed into

positives as long as one walks the straight and narrow.

One may be denied material status, achievements, recognition, or even

natural spiritual tendencies, but by such good work and blessings anything

is possible if the end result is to be used in transcendental ways. However

if one misuses this good grace and the results of his activities, the harsh

natal teachers do their job intensely. These planets' influence is always

present and we find even in the charts of the ultra spiritual, they too are

subjected to some harsh disease or challenge. It helps us, the ordinary,

realize that suffering will always be here in this world and no matter what

we do - a nice situation of material existence is always interrupted. Such

challenges help us increase our spiritual growth if taken in the correct

way.

Best regards,

Vyas Munidas
