It could also be a bad placement for the 7th lord. In your case Venus is your 7th lord which is with its friends mercury and saturn. Therefore the 7th lord is not afflicted. There is no malefic aspect on the 7th house either. The problem in your case is that there is no benefic support to your 7th house through an aspect. If you like you can immerse in a river 7 small pieces of neela thotha. Neela thotha is a karak of rahu. No harm in doing that. It will be placed 9th from your natal moon hence should be beneficial in matters of marriage. But, jupiter in transit will join Rahu which is already in capricorn in transit. Therefore you have to take care of Rahu which is also placed in the 7th house of your natal chart. Therefore the jupiter will be conducive for the marriage and the obstacles are expected through the Rahu. Keeping a little jau tied in a black cloth under a stone can take care of Rahu. None of these is associated with the house of profession. In your case the lord of the 10th house is Saturn in the navansh of venus. Therefore in my opinion you will get settled professionally during the Rahu/Venus/Saturn dasha which will start in April 2010 [lahiri ayanansh]. In the meanwhile you have to appease your Jupiter, the bhagya lord, and Saturn your 10th lord. Unless your bhagya lord is appeased you might not get a break through. In my opinion stotra for jupiter is the best thing to appease jupiter. If there is a Peepal tree around where you live then offering water to a Peepal tree would also help. For Saturn you are already reciting mahamritynjay. Offering mustard oil at any Shani temple on saturdays would also help. Therefore during these pratyantars you should recite the beej mantra for the pratyantar lord. [ 2 ] You can keep either of the two, which ever is convenient to you.
