Dear Punit Pandey Ji

I Have one small clarification to ask. Generally there are two types of charts are prepared

1. Cusp Chart

2. Bhava Chalit Chart

EG:" Let us say Lagna is 10 degree Aries and Sun is 5 Degree Aries

in

1. Cusp Chart : Sun will be shown in 12th Cusp not 1st Cusp

2. Bhava Chalit Chart : Sun will be shown in 1st Bhava

Now I want to know is Which of this chart should be converted into Lal Kitab Kundli

- How has been your relationship with your mother? Declined in the last few years? Do your mother and your wife get along well; chances are that they don't.

- As you enter your house, do you have pictures of Sadhus and Saints including that of Sai baba? A visitor gets to see those pictures as he/she walks in?

- I wouldn't worry about Pitri/Matri Rin at this stage; I may have to revise this later.

Based on your answers, I'll try to reach a conclusion on the basic nature of these planets and only then I can suggest a few corrective measures.

Normally which is ascendent there put no. 1 & count in ascending

order anti clock wise.Now the kundli is prepared according lalkitab

(But this change im describing in the northern style kundli)

Dear Gaidu ji,

None of the two kundalis you mentioned will be used for converting it

into the Lal Kitab kundali. The kundali which is used is called the

Lagna kundali or Janmang kundali. The rasi in which the lagna falls

becomes the Khana # 1 , the next rasi becomes khana # 2 ...and so on

{ going along the zodiac counting }

Most of the vedic astrologers don't use the cusp kundali, hence not

used for Lal Kitab . Bhav chalit kundali is cast after the bhav-

spashtha , and is again not used for Lal Kitab purposes by almost

all the lalkitabists except me. I use the bhav chalit kundali to

ascertain the position of planets in various bhav.

Priya Ji,

Please correct me if I am wrong about kundli used in Lalkitab.

As per vaidic method, lagna is placed in top house no. 1 and numbered with the rashi of lagna e.g. 5 for Leo and then increamented in counter clockwise direction. So we have top house (no.1) numbered after lagna no. 5.

In case of Lalkitab, top house no.1 is always treated to be the house for rashi no.1 aries. So the house no. & rashi no. are always same. Now the as in the example above, planet in lagna (rashi leo) will be placed in house no.5 in counter clockwise direction.

So the rashi no. for each planet remains the same on both systems, only the house no. changes.

Dear Mr.Sanjay,

It is slightly different from what you are understanding it as. Suppose Sun is in Leo in Asc. Now when you will convert it into Lk chart Sun will still be in 1st but now it will be in Aries as 1 is always aries and so on. In LK houses and signs are fixed (and it is the soul of the system) the only difference fromVedic system is that LK takes a fixed asc. system and vedic uses variable asc. system.
